lately I have resorted to retro lottery picks.
1) number bottle caps, then shake & draw, even a full set from a basket or whatever.
2) number an old deck of playing cards, shuffle and deal out a set of picks.
3) when I was a kid I used to play roleplaying games such as Dungeons & Dragons on paper...using the wild geometric shaped dice to determine random events.
only recently I thought to use the dice to shake out lottery picks...for a 6/49 lotto for example, there is a 4sided pyramid die, and a 10sided percentile die.
the 10sided percentile dice are great for pick3/pick4...I place one between the tips of my thumb and index or middle finger, snap and spin them on the table like a top...can't get more random than that
cheers!
