Winning idea for pairs similar to sangoma (need some programming skills though)

Program update:

I added in 2 more copy to clipboard options for positional page. One shows the skip value for each column (Ball - Skip - Percentage) and the other is a compact listing by Ball Number (Ball - Skip - C1 to Cx percents).

The compact listing let's you see column percents side by side. Just a different display for sorting.

http://www.amafrog.com/halfbee/pairpos1d.zip

I also removed the DLL files from the zip (size dropped to 35k from 300k) if you haven't run any of my programs before you will need to have the two required DLL files so might download pairpos1c.zip first.

They keep a history of all the draws and predraws on line. It is the red dot in the middle of the page.

I know about the pretest and at one time Patrick123 made some adjustments
to winnalotto to help compensate for his. Use the pretests if their available.
Your predictions will be more accurate. Tried to find them on PA games, but
no luck so far. If anyone has a link to PA pretests please let me know. :)

BTW, PA switches drawing machines so often to throw off statistical
predictions programs like the one's developed here. :)

Is this working for 6/53 lottos? I can get it to load but if fails when I click get skips.

thanks

It supports 6/53 (complete list is on the positions tab page).
Which 'Get Skips' fails, the one on the pairs page or positions page?

This is because you don't have the 2 required DLL files in the same directory as the program. On version 1d I didn't include them in the zip archive. If you have any of my other programs you can either copy the dll files from that folder or move the pairpos program into that folder (meaning you don't have duplicate DLL files all over your hard drive).

I didn't include them because at 35k download is better than a 300k file size every time I post a minor update to the programs.

Got it working. That's what I figured after seeing your message above.
What sequence does you history file have to be in?

Should have the most recent draw first. This is how most lotteries post their results. I know the program lists them the other way with most recent at the bottom. Ideally it should be draw number, draw date, n1, n2, n3 etc.

Hi All

I used HalbBee's pairspos1d and I did ok with today's Mix & Match 5/19.
The position tab really helped me place numbers in the columns they
most often came. I would have done better if 13 had only showed in
position 3. I did cover my bet with a little extra winnings. I usually don't win
first time out, but the lottery gods were with me. The next drawing is Monday.
Plenty of time to work out the next game. :)

Glad it helped, I just wrote it... credit goes to Jokerh1977 for the method...
With only 19 that must make for a lot of triples, and probably some repeats especially on pairs. The payoffs must be rather low since the odds are so great, still a win's a win... How many numbers are you putting in the pool? It sounds like a good place to try the smaller wheels, almost full wheels if payoff is good enough.

Thanks Jokerh1977 and HalfBee for this idea and software. :thumb:
JackPots generally start at $10,000, but have gone as high as $60,000.
I pick sequential pairs that have appeared 1 to 3 times in last 60 drawings.
I use winnalotto to create combinations and purge statistically poor
combinations. What's left I rearrange the numbers in the columns that
show the highest probability. For numbers that have high probability in more
than one column, I move them around in other draws. It's sometimes a very
tricky process, but generally works. Mix & Match Jack Pot the five
numbers must match and be in the exact position as the winning numbers.
The only thing I don't like about M&M is it's only twice a week drawings :)

Thanks BP! Yeah, HalfBee has done some amazing programming for this idea to take form! The man is a whiz!

The skips within positions are a great way to choose where numbers should go, and reduce total ticket size. Another really powerful method that I have found is analyzing how many hits a number has in a position and then weighting the number with total amounts available in that slot. (I'll explain more in a subsequent post. There is another method for selecting a pair that I'll explain as well.)

Some numbers are strong in all positions, but seem to change for each
draw their in. I looked at the prior 3 draws for this type of number and use
a position that was not used. For example, the number 19 is strong
in positions 1 thru 5. If 19 came in positions 1,5,3 in the last draws then
I play 19 in position 2 or 4 in future combinations. Other numbers are
strong in certain positions only and again I look back so I can play them
where have not appeared. When there are numbers that share the same
positions, I play them separately in different draws but in positions that
were not played in prior draws. This may be a crude method, but it
seems to work.

There is another method for selecting a pair that I'll explain as well.

Iam interested in how you pick your pairs. I just use sequential pairs that
won 1 to 3 times in the last 12 draws. This is usually 5 to 6 pairs :)

Hey go with what works for you!

As far as picking my pair. I only use one pair at a time and I play it until it hits or reaches its cutoff point. To which I then pick a new pair. I have been using the method where I explain picking a pair that has consecutively hit above its theoretical median but is currently under the median. (I actually use 33% not 50%, so technically not THE median.)

The new way I was speaking of was as follows:

1. Use Winnalotto's Bushappy tab. See what the current hit table is. Now find which number IS AND HAS been running below all the others. This will be our favored number.

2. Use JokerPairs and find your favored number with all its pairs. Choose the pair that either looks most due OR use my over, over, over, under method described above.

3. Play until the pair hits or the favored number hits (in which case reanalyze and choose a new favored number).

I also mentioned an alternate positions analysis. This would be a little complicated...

We are doing something similar to the skip method in each positional column. However instead of skips we are using hits then weighting those hits. I'll describe this in detail a little later.

Hi BP

I take it that you have streamlined your "BPMedianDue Filter", will you please post the criteria for me!

Thanks
