Hey Nick you use excel all the time, i was doing some work on a spread sheet yesterday and after so long it just decided it would close down all on it's own and it keeps happening....it's never happened before but someone else has been using my PC recently, any ideas what might be going wrong.

Hi Nick,

can you please add on the output of the BPS a button to save best so far numbers on the same sheet page.So if the user run several time the BPS he or she can save all the results and he or she can compare them later on for a meximum of 12 draw or more.
Like this:
Buttons "Save result" "Delete Last result" "Delete All"

Tests| Result draw | Set size|Duration|categories|trial|Best so far
1 | | | | | |
2 | | | | | |
3 | | | | | |

ect..
Thank you

The best way to do this is manually
by the user as follows:

1. Add a new worksheet to the program
2. After each test Copy the BPS to that sheet for your reference

3. You can revise /edit as required.

Hello Nick :wavey:

New Zealand database sent to your hotmail account this morning.

Regards,

Irvin.

PS same error happens with N tuplets (Module 8) but the duration is higher compared to the trivial report before it happens.

Nick,

I tried a few other things which gives me the impression that it cannot handle 2 different values of "n" (In this case n7 and n8) at the same time.

But just want you to confirm since my database has a duration of 48 draws with n=8 and trivial report is dropping out at duration 27+.

wheel designer

I have downloaded your wheel designer but i cant seem to work out how to do abbreviated wheels, or will it only do full wheels i am looking at a 7/27 lotto and need wheels using from 9numbers all the way up to 20numbers, as long as they dont go over 200 entries.

Hello Snowy!!!

If you are talking about LottoDesignerXL it is very easy to use.

The part I use the most is the "constraints" section.

If you look at the first section of the sheet "Input" at the top left hand side is where you set the parameters for your tickets / wheels.

Heres what the following means;

V = How many numbers do you want to wheel?....in your case it is 9 or 20.

K = size of each ticket....since it is 7/27 set this to 7.

T and M are the important sections for creating your abbreviated wheel;

T is how many numbers do you want correct in relation to M.

ie; if you set M to 5 and T to 4 then you will only get a prize (4 number prize) if 5 of the numbers drawn match your selection.

so with the above options you will have something similar to this in the boxes;

V = 9
K = 7
T = 4
M = 5
L = 1
B = 1 to 200 tickets.

If you check the "free stuff" at the bottom of this page you will find a link to Peters Wheels.

There are a lot of good wheels here.

Or you could also use Cover Master.

Hope that helps.

Sorry Nick if I answered this for you. You must be pretty busy at the moment.

Tim,

The programme can be downloaded from the free stuff section at the bottom of this page.

Once in the free stuff section go all the way to the bottom.

There you will find a section titled "wheel resources"

Hope that helps.

PS. If the programme comes up with a message saying this has expired you can ignore the message.

Tim,

Go to the "lottodesigns wheels" in the free stuff "wheels resources" section

click on that and it will take you to one of nicks pages.

Look for the download button on that page and you are there.

Regards,

Irvin

Sorry in a bit of a rush otherwise I would have posted the link,
