Why would I use an Optimum Set when I just pointed out they don't work?

As far as working it out it's quiet easily done, but useless. I have consistently advised this is a trap for the unwary since I started posting on the web from the start of 2004 having realised this myself some 2 years earlier.

You can not use the Optimum Set and do any tests on it
and try to prove anything.
You conclusions will be false statistics.

An Optimum Set is almost a "cover" of the present history under review.
As you may know a cover is almost an equal-probability set that satisfies the nCm
parameters. Of course in this case we have a Optimal Group of Numbers instead of
a family of sets.

Your tests will be worthless.

which 6 numbers are you looking for?
which list of numbers are you referring too?
If I knew the answers to these questions, I might be able to help you, but it would be late on Saturday.;)

You posted these numbers 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-13-22-23-27-30-31-34

and mentioned 82x5 winning numbers
5x6 winning numbers and 1x7 winning numbers.

From the 15 number set how would a person choose which 6 of those numbers will be called for the lotto 649, or atlantic 49?

Thats the tricky bit.

WHat you need to do is find a wheel that you like and wheel the 15 numbers.

GillesD ...looks like another 4 hitter last night from your set...that's two in a row.:agree2:

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-18-22-27-40-43-47 which gives 80x5-winning numbers but only 3x6-winning numbers and 0x7-winning numbers.

the next draw is a combination of numbers from the Best & Worst sets.

I have seen that using the BPS of the last 30 draws
and with settings of 2-4 hits
and of size 12-14
gives the best starting set for the next Draw.

For example:
Last CAN 649 draw
Best Set of 12 numbers was:

with Total Hits for the last 30 Draws of
2=18
3=9
Total of 27 Draws with 2+ Hits


It had 4 Hits...



The sets below were of equal value to the above (same number of Total Hits=27)
