ok so i know im new but......

im not stupid, however i feel a little lost when i look at these messages saying that these are the numbers to play and how many lines your going to play them.
my question isn't about the numbers..... i know math and the odds of a number being drawn. Except the one thing i do realize is that they are drawn RANDOMLY but most of your number selection is through odds and hot hot the number is (or isn't) meaning its times of being drawn in the past .........however long. How does this thought process work with a random selection? Becauce fact would have you belive that you have just as much of a chance of 1,2,3,4,5,6 drawn as any other combanation.......right?
my second question has to do with you say your going to play these numbers in 6 lines how do you choose those numbers in wich line is that just by guess or by gosh?
im not question anyone im just trying to get a better understanding of how it works.......hey i can't question anyone i haven't even won a free ticket from this yet thats why im here
