~~~ ®™ Well, as Dennis so eloquently said, we are competing with the astronomical odds against winning, not each other. I try to give people at least 1 good number to play - take it or leave it - it's only 1 number. The likelihood of any of my tickets being repeated by someone here is extremely small. A good example of that is the test picks by George and Dennis - 200 tickets not one the sameSheba said:Private messages!
Post some picks - before the draw - show me.
May as well go back to being a lurker.
I think I said this before, I just wish I was a little more computer savvy to keep up with you guys. I guess I'm in the wrong profession.
Beaker said:Precisely Maggie - let's here from them. But when a newbie comes and says they have all the answers I don't buy it - I'm skepticalPost some picks - before the draw - show me.
When someone says they play 30 numbers, play 100 filtered tickets and hit with 3, with homegrown software, my ears start to get red - this is some awesome feat and I want to know more.Thankfully, George has provided some of his thoughts and now I have a better understanding of what he does.
Same with tomatin2001 with pick3 - he proved his mettle after his claims.
Others have not. Hopefully, they shed some light for us.
I'll sit on the sidelines for awhile.
But I always watch your picks Maggie![]()
Its a shame the ones who do contribute are not able to join forces with the others who do and make more effective progress. Might not be possible in the forum... ...is there another?
he'll tell you.Maggie said:I'm with you on that as well, Beaker. I'm a little bit skeptical when someone claims to know all the answers. I want to see more. Posting or editing picks after the draw is not the way to goMay as well go back to being a lurker.
And yes, George has been a wealth of info so far.I think I said this before, I just wish I was a little more computer savvy to keep up with you guys. I guess I'm in the wrong profession.
Keep watching, Beak, some day it might be a race through those doors.![]()
All I will say about that is this is the forum to do it. All the committed players are here - for Canada's 6/49.
George, you have hit the nail on the head. All we want to do is to get a leg up on this lotto thing. Some want only to win the jackpot - anything else is stupid. Others play to win more than they bet on a consistent basis. That's where I fit. Some time back, we wanted a few players to post their 'best bets' believing that everyone has some 'feeling' about a number that was coming.
Think of it - 6 people posting 2 best bets - as Peter would say absolute can't miss picks- 12 numbers you could wheel any way you want. You might hit 4 or 5 numbers consistently every draw!!![]()
Ask Peterhe'll tell you.
I like that approach George - very systemic of yougsobier said:Beaker:
As you can see, I'm still learing and don't know about any other forums, guess that answers that question, eh. As far as "best bet"... ...I'm not good enough yet to make those kinds of calls... ...if I had to, I'd predict a repeater everytime.
Regards,
George![]()
especially when they are in a DN wheel
keyboard (you know, the ones which came with an IBM PS/2)
!!peter said:I think, for what it's worth, the message, that some of us are trying to say is. We wish more people would participate. Yes perhaps we were a bit harsh to George, Those of us who were apologized to him. We all do make mistakes, and wish we could take back things we have said.
And yes this is an open forum, I relish "new blood" or "newbies if you will.I welcome new ideas, I'm not as computer saavy either, as others. But the point was well made by Dennis and Beaker, that we should try to overcome the Lotto odds. This partnership that we all share here together, is somewhat like a marriage, when one or the other partners don't contribute, it creates ill will, and animosity, it does'nt work.
I enjoy being here, and the interaction I have with others, I hope it can continue.
Also, when you have this many people in one room, not everyone is going to always agree, and get along. Thats a fact of life.
How many of us get along with everyone we know.....exactly, thats my point.
