I am ready to give up on keno!

I am feeling very discouraged with keno in atlantic Canada, I am not in Ontario.

I try small amounts of numbers or larger and I just don't win, I have tried generated numbers and my own without success..
I have tried blitzed's site and others, and feel completely confused with numbers..

I try to enjoy numbers but don't when they don't work for me..

I see some people play loads of combinations, I can't afford to play more than 2 as I am between jobs- looking for a steady job;

I know there are other people on the forum and in life that feel completely frustrated with the lottery corporation at trying to keep up with the numbers they spit out on a nightly basis for the draws!

hiya veronica, what prize areya trying for? do you keep a chart and track numbers?

I would probably only focus on a few lower spot bets...2, 3 ,4...maanage some wins on the better odds and then workya way into a few bigger spots.

I looked at your keno game really quick...plugged in 5draws prior to last, into MLQP to get quick stats.

here is how many times each number in last draw appeared in the 5draws previous:
none = 2
one = 9
two = 5
three = 3
four = 1

looks pretty much as I see most keno players mention, don't put too much into chasing cold numbers...instead go for numbers drawn once or twice in recent history.

your lottery does not seem to offer past draws, otherwise I would check back to see if the numbers come from the same kind of mix.

How are the drawings done there? Balls and machine or computer generated drawing? Here in BC, Keno is drawn every 5 mins with computers i think. 20 from a pool of 80 numbers. Is it even the same game?

Use MLPQ and try 5 spot or higher so that when you win you have a budget to allow you to stay in the game. Paying $1 to win $7 ( 2-spot ) is not a good Lotto strategy. The same dollar can win you $1000 or more.

at least winning a little on better odds can be fun, instead of frustrating while exclusively chasing bigger prizes with worse odds.

I see whatja mean though, other spots offer consolation prize(s).

maybe bet $1 on a 4spot, match "3 of 4" and at leastya break even...other $1 could go on a 6spot, consolation "5 of 6" at 1 in 189 odds is about the same odds as a boxed bet on pick3, and pays $25.

Hello , welcome to wonderful chinese game of Keno. where numbers always deceive you every time. very interesting to note that Keno atlantic is using computer generated numbers. anyone know what logic generator they are using. if the numbers are randomly picked from the statistics of numbers purchased then you are in tough. if it is truly random regardless then it looks a bit better. here are some things i have used to help me win at keno.
#1 ignore cold numbers.
#2 look at only the last 3 drawsas a whole
#3 chart out yournumbers on a full board ( eg, excel spreadsheet with highlighters) to see your patterns.
#4 follow hot groups in tens eg.20's,30's etc
#5 pick no more than 4 numbers per tens group.
#6 do not pick 1 or 70
#7 play your numbers every two nights. so play the same numbers for mon and tuesday etc then switch. but do not pick exact opposit numbers.
#8 every draw usually has 3-5 numbers from the night before.
#9 do not get discouraged ,keno is like hitting flies with a chopstick but it can be done.
#10 do not play keno trying to get rich, it will drain you financially.pick no more than 7 numbers until you can consistently pick good numbers by your methods.
#11 one thing you will always see is hitting 1-2 numbers per pick . this is normal and you will soon start to see more numbers hitting the mark.

that is alot of numbers blitzed- I will try the last 3 draws in the pool and see how hthe numbers turn out.. I didn't win last night, but will keep going and hopefully manifest prizes of some amount..

The draw was tricky last night, the numbers I hoped would show up didn't so I need another approach to take with the draws..

veronica: by simply adding 11 to the numbers for the previous draw you should be able to get 3/3 correct in no time.

eg: 2 - 4 - 7 - 9 last nite

translates to:

13-15 -18-20
