Additionally, once you start to look at the spacing between numbers you will realise that about 75% of draws have at least one group of three numbers within a span of 10 -- e.g. 18-20-24. About 25% of draws have 2 or even 3 of these clusters, and about 14% of the time you will get 4 numbers within 10.

So, combinations that could be filtered out would be those with no clusters or small clusters (say 2 numbers) that are widely spaced.

Hi Icewynd,

I did actually put this together but didn't have time to post it, and then I saw that you had done it and posted it. When I compared my figures with yours they didn't agree, and then you posted the updated figures. Unfortunately, those figures don't agree with mine either. Although I live in the UK I do actually keep a DataBase of the Canadian 649 Lotto results. It may well be that my results are at fault.

My Checks
I worked out that using P3-P1, P4-P2, P5-P3, P6-P4 that there should be a total of 3,063 * 4 = 12,252 numbers in total. Your totals show 12,320, a difference of +68.
I also used formulas to check that all the drawn numbers that I have got were in ascending order from left to right, just in case I had accidentally put the results in as the drawn order, but they were all OK.

Our figures agree .

At least that proves we are using the same figures in our DataBases, which is more than I can say with reference to your other thread and your Lotto organizer, they seem to be of the same ilk as ours here in the UK!
It comes to something when we have to tell THEM that they have got it WRONG. Just think of the millions of Lotto players that use this information and quite understandably believe that the data is CORRECT. I have emailed our Lotto organizers numerous times over the last twenty years and the information is STILL incorrect, although I must admit that they have changed the results in the past once they confirmed that I was right. The last I heard from them was asking me to send them my results for our ThunderBall Lotto which I have found numerous errors in the data and statistics that they are providing.

Tell them that they will get the corrected data, in whatever format they prefer, as soon as you

I could just ask them for the 7 numbers for tonights draw, that would answer everybodys question as to whether the Lotto is fixed or not .

I have been giving our HotPicks a go recently.
This is where you pick anything from 1-5 numbers that you think will be drawn in the next Main Lotto 649 draw.
I have been concentrating on TWO numbers and on Saturday I picked the correct TWO and won £40 with numbers 11, 47, and four weeks ago I won another £40 with numbers 24, 31. I don't play HotPicks every draw, just when I feel the time is right as predicted by my statistics, and I never check the numbers if I don't play, that could work out to be very depressing.

Wish we could do that. I don't know how many times I played a set of numbers and had two correct.
