Hi, Springbok:

Unfortunately, there are still 19 Balls on the box even I did all by your instructions, and the Columns of Key and Date still keep on the box, Why? The software was downloaded by me is Wnnlotto 2.0 Sangoma edition. Please let me know asap how can resolve the problem? Thanks.

Hi, Springbok and Patrick:

I'm waiting for your answers anxiously now. In addition, I have other questions in using WinnaLotto as below:
1) How can I take the Filter Evaluation? Why the information of "YOU MUST LOAD HISTORICAL DRAWS FIRST" popped up when I click the button of Filter Evaluation and even I have loaded my 280 lines historical data first?
2) Why there are not any Graphs on the screen when I click the button?
3) How can I get the divination results? Why the Wheel is not working for me? The program disappeared immediately from my screen when I have finished the setting on the left and click the "RUN"?
4) Still, I'm confused that how can I make a correct the Drawing Analysis even I have read your lots of posts about it. As you know, there are so many parameters on the program. I want to know which one can be optimized automatically by your program and which one should be selected by users according to different game? How can users select their parameters by vary lotto games?
I do hope we can get the divination numbers for next drawing directly by using WinnaLotto instead of to try, to guess or to get it randomly like Quick Pick. Thanks.

Hi lottowine

You seem to be having a lot of problems with the program. I think you should start over again by going back to the beginning of the thread and work your way through it slowly, stage by stage, including downloading the current version of the program. Most of the filters and their use are described/discussed in the thread. Also, the program requires a computer around the P2 standard, preferably with about 1Meg of memory. Some of the problems you are having may be caused by a corrupt prog or slow computer.
Good luck:)

Morning Lottowine

I ran a mock keno setup of a few 20 number lines. I loaded the file and encountered your problem, Only 19 balls appear on the screen. I think you must wait a bit for Patrick to get on line again and he will be able to sort you out. Maybe the programme needs a little tweak her and there. So for the moment hold your horses and wait for Patrick.

Morning Barge

It is not a compiter problem, I don't think. My old IBM laptop, 500 Celeron with 166megawhotsits handles the programme with ease.

Hi Springbok,

Oke,

I thought it might need more power as the symptoms seemed to point that way, but what do I know?:look:
4 numbers in the midweek Tball, but not a Tball in sight! My first 3 figure win in a long time..................!

Hi, Barge:
Thanks for your attention. My notebook is P4, AMD, Athlon. And my OP is Windows XP professional. In addition, I have ordered a Norton 360 (about $100) since the September. Did you get any price for your lotto game by using Winnalotto? Before I downloading the program, I have not only read but copied and printed all Posts about the use of Winnalotto in the thread. In deed, I did everything following the instructions from Patrick and Springbok but still kept those problems as my above posts. Could you give me some concrete instructions about that? I do hope the program can work for me.
Thanks.

Hi lottowine

You seem to have plenty of power there!
I only use the program to generate numbers now, as it beats random choosing a lot of the time. However it is not easy to find more than a couple of numbers at a time. If you follow the threads here you will see that we would all be in the Bahamas talking to each other if we were calculating even five numbers on a regular basis. It is not easy, but as time goes on and we gain more knowledge of how the numbers behave, we may get to improve things. If this happens it is likely to be as a result of someone adding, as Springbok puts it, Sangoma. Rolling the bones, or the dice, for the last number or two. I don't play Keno, but if you need up to 20 numbers, all I can do is wish you good hunting! Remember that the numbers Winnalotto produces are pairs(or trips), but most of the time only one number of these pairs is valid. Four numbers is the most I have ever managed to forecast for real in any one lottery, but I am ever hopefull!! You just have to use the filters, and check the results against real draws before you start spending real money! Springbok has described a few methods for finding 2 or 3 numbers over the past month or so, using a real or simulated history,so have a look, and try it out. The method has to be the same regardless of the type of lottery you are playing................:)

Hi, Barge:

Thanks for your detail reply. I'm a serious lotto player from 2001 even I'm a new member in the Forum. And the program used
often by me is GH's. However, I have not yet got some big progress until now. I have tried very lotto games such as Pick3, 4, 5, 6. Recently I'm interesting with Pick-10 since it can select the 10 #s from 20 winning #s. The winning opportunities seem more than other games. I know the WinnaLotto is just designed for selecting pairs by your reply now and I find the ALL FILTERS in the program are designed for 649 only but for Keno. So, I have to stop to use it ,and thanks for your sincere attention!!! In addition, I think you and Springbok, Patrick all are serious lotto players and researching and discussing the game by the scientific behavior. So, could you give me some idea about the playing such as which software is really working for the game in the world? Thanks.

Hi lottowine

As Springbok said, wait until Patrick joins us again and maybe he can help. My only thought is that you could calculate in two parts to cover all the numbers you need to, dunno if it will work, but give it a try! You mentioned only getting 19 numbers up, instead of 20, try running it with 19.............you never know until you try!

Hi CFLam

I’ve been busy brushing up on my programming skills with GWBASIC (don’t laugh).
I wrote a program to purge draws using filters like, fadic addition of sums,
a balanced high/low filter, consecutive numbers, odd/even, past winning draws and
more. I use my program with Saliu’s programs to reduce the final draws to a about
5 draws with the greatest probability to win. Setting filters is a challenge. Set them
too strong and you remove potential Jackpot draws. Set them too weak and the
number of resulting draws is too expensive to play. I’m trying to find a better way
to remove numbers that have a very low potential of being drawn. Seems FFG has not
been effective in predicting numbers for the next drawing. I’d like to reduce the number set to 15 or less.

To Black Prince

Hello Black Prince,
I am stuck in reducing number as well. I work on 649 and I use your method (very hot, hot and cold) to select number, this usually give 21~28 numbers for me.

I tried use Saliu's util632 to reduce combination (purge duplicate) but it either purge the winning combinition away or left too much to play.

You are right, the selections usually not hit with the very next draw, may be 2~3 draws later.

BTW, I am not familar with GWBasic as well, but I am using AutoIt to automatic the testing.

Hi Lottowine

I had a quick look at this Rapido which appears to be like Keno. What I suggest at this stage is to use your data files and accept for the moment the 19 balls. Go to the drawings screen and click on singles. Look for the single number with the highest skip and bet on that number. Obviously back test to see how this works out. There might be quite a few. Pick one or more and see if it or they come up in the next round. From what I can see you will not need more than 10 lines in your history file for this. For this kind of game you are going to need to keep up with the draws in your history file. This Rapido draw seems to occur every 15 minutes.

Springbok, there are 5 Skip columns: Skip 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 on the analysis area of Balls. I'm not sure which one should be selected by me for the highest skip? If the highest skip should be the highest one in the all five Skip boxes the number is #79(skip1=46);
Then, I canceled the top historical line and made the same analysis as above. The number with the highest skip is #79(skip=45); Go on in this way.... the numbers with highest skip back test 8 lines are separately as below: #79(skip=44); #79(skip=43); #79(skip=42)... #79 (skip=36).

Springbok, If my operation above was correct, we should use not only the one parameter but other parameters such as Filters, Median,... to predict the next draw for NY KENO. I'm looking forward to your further instructions now. Thanks.

Good Day Lottowine

I managed to cut and past your history file and load it. Here is a suggestion based on the technique used in the 49s. Once loaded go to the drawings screen and hit balls. Ignore everything on the screen except for last draw column. Drag the cursor a little bit down the column and then sort. Look for the number with the highest skip. That is the one to bet on. When we chase a single number embedded in a pair we are able to do it by increasing the bet on each draw as you can make money because of the odds offered by the bookies. If you use this technique with your NY keno(here you are using a single number and not a pair) you will have to think about the odds offered and work out if it would be possible to make money in 4 draws. You will have to accept the occasional loss and increase betting after a failure to recoup your previous loss. I would suggest much testing on paper. Also looking at the history file you will need a history of 100 or so previous draws so you can paper test. Also realise that at the moment you are using 19 balls not 20, this should have a very marginal effect as you build up your skills.
Hopefully this helps you. Good Luck or better to say sharpen your skills as we are trying to get rid of luck and chance. Theoretically it should work but it depends on the odds offered.

Hi, Springbok:

Thanks for your nice and important suggestions! I will try some tests by your instructions. Also, I do hope you and Patrick can make a little tweak to your program for Keno games. Thanks.

I've been back testing and discovered that Least5 and Worst5 remove too
many potential Jackpot winners. After running all combinations for Pick5 (5/30)
for all combinations and using least5 to remove the least played pairs, I
compaired the past winning draws to this file. The result was 50% were of
the winning draws had been removed by least5. I tried the same with worst
pairs and the result was 70% were removed. I decided to use Best pairs with
a twist. If a draw has five or more matches to the Best pair file then it's a Keeper.
This reduced all combinations (142,506) to (10,210). These are draws
that have 5 or more best pairs matched. Next I will apply the standard static
filters (odd/even, consecutive nos.,high/low,fadic sums, etc.) to reduce the
numbers of draws further.

Hi, Springbok:

Unfortunately, your WinnaLotto still refused to work for me. Tonight I made more than 10 tests (from 11/03/07 to 11/13/07) by your suggestions. Finally, I found the number with the highest skip always is #79 in the tests. But #79 was due only 2 times from 11/03/07 to 11/13/07 in NY KENO. However, it's still not sense even #79 was due 10 times during the test time because the smallest prize is 6/10 ($10) in NY KENO. Next, I tried the tests again by Patrick's original instructions on the Forum but it was still not working for me.
Maybe, I'm doing something wrong? Thanks.

Hi Lottowine

Gee Whiz!, betting on 6 numbers out of 10 for $10. I assume your initial stake is returned. Now that is what I call gambling. I don't know if anyone else has used the programme for keno. It was initially designed to hunt a number pair within 4 draws on the 49s lottery(winning number embedded in the pair). To hunt 6 numbers out of 10 of 20 numbers out of 80 might be stretching it a bit too far. Better to find a lottery in whatever country you live (I assume the USA) that offers bets on single numbers(and of course reasonable odds). This would remove the gambling aspect and turn it into high yield investment. 50% yield per week is pretty good. A series of tests I ran on this board using grids turned £3 into around £12.50 in 7 days.
