Howdy Springbok.

The best part of Lesotho, is the flight back to Civilisation. I was on the last flight for the evening back to JHB. I was dropped off at the airport( about 20kms out of town) at about 6:30pm, it was raining cats & dogs. I walk in, this Ugandan, living in Lesotho, working for South African Airways, informs me that the flight has been cancelled. They've already got all the lights switched off, all the shops and car rentals closed up. I ask him what must I do? he says come back tomorrow, tomorrow is another day.

I literally hit the roof. Every 4 lettered expletive and a few, in fact a lot of extras streamed out blessing right down to the labourers who built the airport, including their mothers!!

Well to cut a long unpleasant story short. I got back the following day and have sent a nasty letter to SAA from who I still have not heard from.

I was under the impression that you were making use of you alpha & zulu files in the filter on the Drawings Analysis screen? As that still works in tandem with the normal column filters.

South African's Lotto resumes on this Saturday 13th, but I prefer to hone my skills on the UK49 as that is much more faster moving.

I will most probably start up with the mods to WinnaLotto tomorrow.

I received an e-mail from one of Sheldrake's researchers on Monday to my questions on the South African lottery 6 month gap. Here it is

"Thank you for your email enquiry which I will pass onto Rupert Sheldrake. I think the short answer is no one has done any experiments, that I'm aware of, on this question. The main area of Rupert's study is to focus on his theory in relation to animals, humans and the natural world. You may be interested to read Rupert's book THE PRESENCE OF THE PAST if you haven't already, which outlines his theory in great detail. "

I feel it would make no difference. If this is the case, are you thinking what I am thinking?:)

No rush to update the programme. As it stands now it is a superlative research tool and a real sangoma in prediction of up to two pairs for the very next draw ever since I ported my original files in groups of 4 concatenated together, I now can work with 2 groups of files or if necessary the full monty of 1176 pairs. The actual files are killers in prediction, far superior to the full monty.

Teatime draw no 27 popped up. This was one of the predicted numbers in the pair. This was the second win today. No big deal as it is commonplace. Now I decided to generate 2 random files each around 400 combinations. Two different seeds were used and no lines were common-seriously random. I then ran a prediction exercise for the 7/49 teatime draw based on these random files. Inbetweener6 produced 22, 23 as its highest rating from file x1. Inbetweener5 produced 27,29 as its has rating from file x2. A number from each pair hit. Are you thinking what I am thinking?:)

How do you decide "it's highest rating" when deciding which numbers to choose within Winnalotto? I tend perhaps to check too many columns, probably, (if not definitely!) confusing the issue. Which do you find the most accurate? Apart from the skips themselves.

Let's take tomorrow's 5/34 sectoin of the UK Thunderball game. I am going to use the inbetweener. I offset it by one draw because it should hit tomorrow providing it did not hit in the offset draw.

Inbetweener3 forecasts 26, 30
Inbetweener4 forecasts 15, 31
Inbetweener5 forecasts 4,15

None of those hit on Wednesday so all are in the running for Saturday. Inbetweener5 has the highest ranking because it has the 5 previous skip cycles over the median. So it has a higher probability than the other 2. We then expect either 4 or 15 to rock up on Saturday. A wise player would have combinations reflecting either 4 or 15. The odds are on either of those two numbers.

PS I was using a 80 draw history

I will concentrate more on one or two column filters, plus number filters as required to reduce odds.

I emulated your Inbetweener 4 and 5, but not 3 for some reason, nothing came up.
I had a bet at lunchtime on the 49s, one number came up, which was reasonable, doubled my stake.
I tried again on the pm without success, so worked my way through the filters with a history of 80, to try and find the right setup (excluding altering the hist ory). No success until I came to Rebal Equ 4 and Double hit and rebal Median.
8 hits in 13 rows...............................! How do we know before the event:look:

If you emulated the inbetweeners then you would have got the above results. Did you offset by 1. In other words you skipped the very last draw when you did the analysis. This was the forecast for the 5/34 section for Saturdays Thunderball draw.

Yes, I offset by one. I will recheck my Inbetweener 3, although it looks OK. 4 and 5 produced the same results as yours.
I had 15 and the Tball on one line, so some money back again. Altogether I had 1, 15, and 21, but not where I wanted them. :)

For what it is worth, 28 was on a sort on the simple column of Rebal and Double hit, and 33 on N plus 4 Greater Equal max, on a basic sort.
 
Hi Patrick,

Can you find some time for a new upgrade? I would like to be able to automatically create a number filter based on the number frequency chart. Basically, if we use inbetweeners4 for pairs and those pairs contain 20 unique numbers I would like to create a number filter with those numbers. This will also help analyzing different skip ranges. If you can find some time for this I would be very grateful.

Later on I will write a post on putting in another filter. It will be tricky(I think) although with you programming skills it should be a piece of old takkie(I hope). I will demonstrate it using snippets from MDIED and my alpha, beta etc files. I was trying to get it together lying in bed late last night with my laptop on my tummy but I fell asleep and woke up with my laptop on my tummy.:)

The filters can present three problems. Firstly you cannot rely on them totally and secondly you will not always get a clear cut decision on which pair(trip) to use and thirdly the other two problems makes it difficult to harmonise them so they all hit simultaneously. If you could do this you would be earning anything from £7000 - £14000 per day. These problems have to be worked on.

If you are presented with a choice of numbers then it is best if you can to look at the first skip cycle and pick the one with the highest number. I don't think it would be possible to programme a filter to do this. Computers have their limitations. Human intuition is still uber alles.

Let my make myself clearer. I was never saying that a filter is reliable. For example: after filtering trips after a few criteria we obtain 37 trips. These 37 trips contain 15 unique numbers. What I want is to create a number filter witch would contain all this numbers and only this numbers. By doing so we could observe the structure of a pair or a trip. By structure I mean the skips of each number composing the group. I stated in the past that it might be a way to filter numbers using pairs or trips. I was referring to this when I said that. If I would create a filter for pairs and if I would use as a criterion that the current skip of the pair is 0 I would like to know what is the skip of the other number of the pair. If you want, this is a statistical purpose. Another application would be identifying all the trips and pairs that contain a number with a skip equal to x.

Also in the statistic purpose I would like to make another request relating a frequency column. The presence of this column will help identifying what is, for example, the best pair for number 1. I could write number 1 in the numbers filter, click pairs and sort the frequency column in order to find out.

Try this experiment. Go back x draws. Set Inbetweener2 and look at what is pulled out. Look for the highest number in the first skip cycle(NOT the current cycle). See where it hits. Do this a number of times. You will pick up a strong single from the white noise.

Interesting results at the first look. Most of the pairs hit within the next 2 draws or even the very next. But it is based on a statistical observation, correct? This is what I am saying. As many statistical indicators, as better the chances of finding better and better systems.

Great, you see what I see:) Go back to the beginning of the thread when I wrote that numbers speak to us and we have to learn their language. The language is partly mathematical and partly not. At school we learn 2 + 2 = 4. In our activities with lotteries 2 + 2 sometimes equals 4, sometimes 3, sometimes 5 sometimes anything:) But nevertheless is is possible to pick up strong signals sometimes and understand what they are telling us. This software is the only software(apart from my homebrew alpha, beta etc files) that can do this. It gives us some sort of grip on the random process in the lottery. Not even Saliu's great software can do this. Although Saliu's software is aiming at all 6 numbers and we are not at this stage.

Experiment in conjunction with the draadsitters, inbetweeners and opening batsmen. With opening batsmen always offset by one or two.

Let's look at the skips section of the programme. We click on show all skips. We then expand the skips and we see all the skips according to the preloaded history. OK. No problem there. Now is it possible to then show the skips in sorted order say from least to greatest or vice versa. This is according to the linear row. Each pair(trip) sorted skip history could be read at a glance. Same as you see in MDIED. Example below.......

I came across this commercial lottery site. I am not advertising as the method this fellow proposes is suicidal to your bank account. What is interesting is the little video which explains lottery odds. The interesting thing was how important it is to get 2 numbers as this substantially alters the odds. This is possible with Winnalotto.If you get two pairs then you have 4 two number combinations and one of them is correct.

In case the link is deleted I will briefly explain. At the beginning there are 13,982,816(13 982 816 in South African format).
When the first ball pops out there are 1,712,304 winners.
Second ball 178,365 winners
Third ball 15,180
Fourth ball 990
Fifth ball 44
Sixth ball 1

Hopefully this will inspire Winnalotto users the importance of capturing 2 pairs or even 2 trips.
