From now on, to verify the accuracy of a database, I will post besides the database a CRC CheckSum.

This way we will know what the database includes..

Also the CRC test module will be posted on my web site so that can be used by others.

Though I have to take it from granted The BCLC site might hold some mistakes in their data....
The proof of that is right here on this board...I have never met any players myself included that didn't had a mistake in his database at one point or another...So BCLC staff could have done some too...

Yes Dennis , It is very easy to have errors in databases. I had one in mine and well it took some time to try and find it and then I was comparing to another one on the www and I could not find "My" mistake which in fact was not "My" mistake but the one I was looking at on the WWW

I found 2 errors in Peter's data... ...I sent him the details... ...his errors were nothing more than transposed numbers. All the other draws matched mine and BCLC 100%. We could have what we want in for accuracy. Please send me the data from your Québec source when you have it.

That is something I'm wondering about... ...BCLC does provide the data for everyone... ...asking them what steps were taken to confirm the content would give us a better idea of what they have provided. Like I've said before, OLGC is just terrible for providing anything.
