Question for LT

Gilles,

Did not use bonus nrs...from 12/07/97 to present the set came up with 16, prior to that with 3 , tot. 19 when I re-checked. This probably means that my data needs correcting as I take yours to be accurate. May be I should stick to BC49 :)

Cheers

Your data is good Goswinus

These 20 numbers got 6 winning numbers 26 times but it has been oddly distributed.

It got 6 numbers 11 times in draws #1 to 500, but then only 3 times in draws #501 to 1000. Then it got hot again with 10 times in draws #1001 to 1500 and back to a poor performance with only 2 times in draws #1501 to 1907.

I have to recheck my databases (on the Beaker set you have the same numbers than me for 5 hits=14 and the one that I have sent to goswinus has 5 hits=13( I have 4 different databases here but I might have some mistakes on some...time to correct..) Gilles could you post a list of single number 1 to 49 with their respective hits totals with and without bonus for the 6/49...
Thanks!:agree2:

Stats on Lotto 6/49

Dennis the data you posted prior to this one is exactly the same as mine and it is also the same that can be found on Loto-Québec web site.

So if there is an error, it is in the calculations not in the database unless any error is offset by another one resulting in the same stats. Unlikely.

With numbers 01, 04, 12, 14, 16, 17, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27, 31, 34, 36, 38, 41, 44, 45, 46 and 47, I get 6 winning numbers 14 times and this happens in draws #0158, 0480, 0869, 1406, 1409, 1437, 1517, 1522, 1544, 1601, 1674, 1758, 1832 and 1870.

Might be good to check if you get the same information and also post where you get the other ones with 6 WN.

Thanks Gilles! I was wondering but now I'm reassured....I never tought of the Loto-Québec site ...I will double check my other programs databases...(more likely I will substitute their databases by this one) theyre might be a program miscalculation somewhere ....if it reoccurs after that I'll know exactly what is wrong...

Thanks again Gilles very much! :agree2:

I am amazed of your discovery. I have one question how you find the best performing numbers (20 or so) and how you make the stats.
I want to make the same thing for my lottery 6/49 with the lasy 500 draws or so. Do you use any program or excel sheet??
Thanks.

Hi revy,

I used a program called LotWin which has a feature to look for best performing sets. Problem is that the data base downloaded from their site is somewhat suspect as to its accuracy as you can see from prev. posts ...haven't figured out how to import my 'good' base into it yet, still working on it. Other players may be able to suggest different programs or ways that can look for these sets.

Cheers :)

I downloaded lotwin and I figured out how to use your own drawing data. You go to Analysis Menu and then Import History Data and you can choose a txt file to load. The file must be in the following format:
dd/mm/yyyy n1 n2 n3 n4 n5 n6
It is easy!
NOW, I can't find the best performing sets and best performing stats, please tell me how can I do that...

Best regards!
