Payday Strategy continued

I played a system for the first time on Pay Day last night. I played four overlapping 8 number sytems (guarantee 3/4) at a cost of $6.00 per system for a total of $24.00. I only picked two numbers correct with the systems and so only won $2.00 back. However on the quick pick lines I got 2 numbers 3 more times for a total of $8.00 back on a $24.00 wager, meaning the wager cost $16.00 at the end of the day.
So I'm kind of optimistic on the Pay Day as it is the only Lotto where you can combine a system and quick picks on the same ticket, and seemingly can often expect some kind of payback on a draw. This is as opposed to the 6/49 Lottos and their impossible odds. The next step I believe is to devise a sytem combining (of course) lower cost and coverage with a reasonable chance at winning. While at the same time crossing my fingers on the quickpicks. I think I'll try layering 3 basic 8 number system, to play 12 numbers, as follows:
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
1,2,3,4,9,10,11,12
5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12
This will lower the cost to $18.00 meaning that, with the same mediocre draw as last night, I would lose $10.00. I am considering giving up on the major lottos and focusing on the Pay Day. Does anyone have any thoughts on developing Pay Day systems? Thanks again to Blitzed for the tips and helping me get started.

i don't know what to say man

its tough developing a system where you have so few lines to go with ,, because we all want the cash for life!!

i just try 3 sets of 'lucky' numbers and hope for the quik picks to help .

i won $25 + 2 + 2 + free ticket w/ encore- on my tickets, which made for a good pay off for my $7 invested........... but it was just luck o the quick picks!

i try to forget how close i was to 50,000 and got 25 instead :cow: at least it wasn't 3/4 in the cash for life category :liplick:

Atlantic Payday draw

I buy tickets for atlantic Canada. The most that I have won is $50. Had 3 out of 4 numbers. That was last year. I pick numbers and go with insta picks. Win small prizes and on the tag which is equivalent to the encore.

Hope to have more luck with the draw. :bomb: :bomb:

Hi Joechoda and Veronica,
I guess I'm optimistic or naive, but I think we can try a little harder at this. I start with basic assumptions, such as the odds being a lot better than 6/49 play and better lower tier prizes to help pay the wager. From this starting point I'm employing decade reduction to narrow the field to numbers 45 to 77. My reading of the BC draws to date suggests a bias toward the higher numbers. Then comes the hard part, developing an appropriate cost effective system. Blitzed recommended Peters Picks in my earlier post and a Lotto Logix link has some good 4-pick systems. However I'm reverting to my earlier 6/49 modified system that plays 10 numbers in 5 groups of 2. This is a modification of a Robert Perkis system that can be found in his article "How to win the lotto on a Budget" article at Lotto Logix. It is also a system that Robert Serotic produced, who seems to be recognized for his system coverage. If any 2 groups come up a win is assured. No other system I can find can rival this guarantee given the range of numbers played. Now comes the even harder part, can this system be magnified to accellerate the process. Which is better? Two seperate wagers of 10 numbers or 2 wagers sharing 2-6 numbers in common, or another arrangement? I do know this, the past draws do not favor any 2 groups in 2 decades, and so this throws a wrench into things. For example draws such as 45-52-55-65 or 45-52-65-75 appear to be relatively common while a draw such as 45-47-55-57 is rarer.
Anyhow, I will try something next week as I'm parking my 6/49 and super 7 play to focus on this game and will report my results.

I find the 649 and super 7 games difficult as well to figure out. I like the payday and keno draws. I'm trying to figure out a strategy or technique to have more success at choosing numbers.

well if you have your 10 numbers fully wheeled, i'd say you have a better chance at winning than i do !

I was wondering if the prizes are better in BC?? in Ontario its only $25 for 3/4 [kick in nuts] but still enough cash to finance super 7 and 6/49 i suppose/


I'm just going to stick to my 3 picks for now, and hope for the best, and i wish you the best too Scotty ! i had another idea that could help;;;


if you replay your tickets, won't all of the 'quik pick' lines be the same?? this way if you get a load of QP's you like, then you can replay and replay and have the same chances everytime or something


i did that with a super 7 ticket and eventually won $101 on a repeated replayed QP line.

i hear ya Veronica :) i still try the 6/49 and super 7... just not that hard anymore !

as for Keno... heheh its tough too! i mostly guess on repeats and super cold numbers. and at the end of the day its all luck if you ask me :hair:

im trying to find a way where i hope one number repeats from previous draw, then the second number is where i probably would buy a good majority that contains the 70something numbers, and for the last 2 numbers, no clue as of yet =)

since the stats for payday are quite low, overdues or not. a good 6-7numbers have not even been PLAYED once yet, since the day it debuted in 05!
