Basically the only Jazz station in Toronto, and it's nearly commericial free, ie member supported drives etc is 91.9, their online also at www.moontaximedia.com [there's alot of other great jazz stations online from around the world]

I love all types of music and everyone who sees my collection of cds say I have the strangest tastes.
I have also been to all types of concerts from Kiri Te Kanawa live from a vineyard to an old group Transvision vamp..left my ears ringing for 2 days.
Mainly depends on my mood etc.

Next time you hear "It Keeps You Running" by The Eagles, listen to the bass - one of the more complex numbers for that instrument in the rock genre.....

Maggie same here, i got a boatload of old LP''s from the 70's & 80's, who, beatles, stones etc, but my turntable broke and it would be a big hassle to transfer them onto the computer so i've been downloading and paying about 99 cents per song from puertracks.com . I actually prefer it that way since i only pay for what i want! [it's a bargain the best i've ever had))] Canadians can't buy from apple.com or walmart.com, price is around the same but MUCH big selections down there, either way it's music to my ears)

Alannah miles? apparently she's still alive, I've got one of her albums, or do i have two? Looks like her last one was in 1998 though you can see her tour date for 2004 at this location right here I saw her perform here at a local venue long long ago, she almost tripped over a mic wire, other than that it was a good performance..

I will apologize to Luckystrike who started this thread with a different topic. However in my defense I did not expect to get accosted here since I originally posted in spirit of the thread.
The email I sent you contained facts that stone2kstone is who he claims to be, not 'happypig' nor 'Silly' as you wrongly accused him. He does live in the Montreal area and does speak French as you now know. I sent info which confirms that, as well as his email, so you could discuss any issues you may have had with him, stone2k agreed to that.
I read in the Keno thread with the little French that I do know you kissed and made up and you'll leave him alone, which btw was the only reason to email you.
It seems that you waited till I came back on the BB to confront me as if sending me a derogatory email reply was not enough. It is unfortunate that you can't even tell when someone is trying to help you, however my mission was accomplished despite that.
That's all, I have spent enough time on this already. Reply if you must I simply don't care, I don't want to deal with you anymore on any level. Hence no apology is forthcoming from me so you can stop asking for one. I stand by what I said earlier because your actions today only confirm it.
to Luckystrike and all others: sorry you had to witness this, I did try a more discreet approach but it obviously did not work.

You're right George. Too bad, they had a good start a few weeks back. They were playing whole sides (side A, side B) of good albums. Someone told me they have a psychedelic special every Sunday until 6:00 p.m. I'll give it a listen then.
Tell me George, which station are really good on the Net. I like good music too. Other than my day job, I am an unknown composer.

Facts DB, just stick to the facts. You know very well that I never gave your email to anyone. And the reason I got it in the first place was to email the TWT program that you asked me for. That is well documented in another post. I even gave you my private addy for that to speed things up!
Now that I helped you see that stone2k is on the level and not your 'enemy' you twist things around and accuse me of being someone else. I should have expected that. There's also no need to dredge up old posts and twist them around, anyone can do that.
I am Brad, I never posted under any other name on this board, at the risk of dragging LT into this mess you can ask him directly as he has all the records.
As far as changing my mind about returning to this board goes please don't flatter yourself. There are many other members here I enjoy interacting with and believe me you're not one of them.
