Cool,

Well a couple of things more...

1) Medians... I think medians are more usefull if they are applied to some of the other statistics instead of the numbers of a single draw!! For example to the sum you could tell 50% of the times the sum has been lower then X!

2) Those repeats for multiple draws are nice, except that I don't really understand them! Because I'm getting results with 6, when my game only has 5 numbers, they're probably repeats of repeats! What about putting it the other way arround, the Number of draws to go back to have 1 to N (N being the ammount of drawed numbers) from these draw repeat...

3) The formatting of the Lexicographic id of the draw it's a bit weird, you're putting the thousands sepator yourself, instead of letting excell handle it... the way it is I can't even use them in Excell to make a simple chart!!!!

4) You're right I hadn't noticed that the file that the program saves is a txt file that can be easily used in WH!

Anyway, getting nicer. And what an wonderfoul thing it is to have a developer who listens to it's users, there aren't that many of us left! (I'm including Andrew here!)

Hi thornc,

>>1) Medians...
I'll come up with a secondary report to make use of the data in a way that will be more understandable.

>>2) Those repeats..
Yes at the moment multiple repeats are allowed. See my reply to Irvin above.

>>3) The formatting of the Lexicographic id...
I used the separator to be able to identify the number better but this does not impede the construction of a chart.

But you can change the format of the column to satisfy any of your needs.
Click the Letter of the Column
then Right click and select Format Cells
Select the format you desire.

Yes, unique repeats are a better idea. But even better is having something like to have 1 number from this draw you have to go back 2 draws, to have 2 you have to go back 5 draws, and so on!

I'm afraid that you're wrong, in the Excell 2000 that I have here at work, this isn't working! I can't change the format of the cells, but I can't get rid of the "."(points) so the chart wizard is not working properly!!

These are nevertheless minor issues, that don't takeout the merit of the full thing! Which is Great Nick, thanks again!

Hello Nick and Thornc,

Here is what my repeat spreadsheet looks like;

ball 1 ball 2 ball 3 ball 4 ball 5 ball 6 rpt-1 rpt-2 rpt-3 rpt-4 rpt-5 rpt-6 rpt-7 rpt-8 rpt-9 rpt-10
3 13 23 35 36 37 1 1 1 1 2 2 1 1 0 2
3 6 8 19 29 32 0 1 0 1 1 1 1 2 1 0
11 20 27 30 35 39 1 1 1 1 3 0 0 2 0 1
1 5 32 35 38 40 1 0 1 2 0 1 0 1 0 2
5 23 24 25 27 33 0 2 1 1 0 2 1 1 0 1
9 11 14 19 36 37 0 0 2 3 0 1 2 1 1 0
6 16 22 23 33 35 1 1 1 1 1 0 1 1 1 1
10 20 25 30 32 35 0 0 2 2 2 0 1 0 3 0
12 13 14 16 19 24 3 0 0 2 1 0 2 0 0 1
1 9 14 16 19 29 0 1 2 2 0 0 0 0 1 3

If you look at the top the column labeled "rpt-1" tells us how many numbers in the latest draw are repeated from the last draw. And rpt-2 is numbers from 2 draws back.

It doesnt say which ones repeated just how many.

Irvin

Irvin try using the code or quote tag when you post stuff like this that needs formatting!

Nick, one of the problems with the number formatting for the Lex.ID is that you're sometimes using "," for thousands separators and others "." ; this can lead to a big problem... for eample for me the decimal separator is a "," not a point...

Hi Irvin,

I did try both options,
but I found the summation method is more informative.

For the moment I'll maintain the present format for repeats until otherwise deiced.

Hi thornc,

The problem is not that the
"Language settings"

The options are:
1. Leave LexID unformatted.
2. Have the program change the Language settings globally for USA settings.

For the moment I'll remove the formatting.
