This is a good strategy over the long term - don't think you should kill it too quickly.

I agree with what has been said here - 3 is hard to hit but you may get 1 and 2 is possible. When you hit them, you win BIG.

patience is required :spiny:

yeah ive messed about making many many wheels, and the mind boggles at testing them V past draws and how few winners come up.

the best was a 5# hit , oh and using xlottosatistics and the best pick 17 or so had all 6 come in the suggested 17 numbers the 1st time i tested it.

still 17 number wheel for 24 lines isnt going to give great coverage.

i did get excited about the 3 banker one as if the conditions are met, it pays BIG!.

of course those conditions are really rare.

this last week was my 5th playing it, and a freeak result with nothing in my conditions being met except 1 in the 13, made it result in only a few lines with 1 hit each.
very bad, verry very bad.

i have that addictive nature that thinks the moment i stop playing the numbers they'll hit. so its dangerous.

thats why i destroyed all my copies of the wheel. so i cant check on it hehe.

hi all again,

i finally got to going thru the database i have going bck to 1989 of the draw this wheel is for, and comparing it to the total history of the game.

thanks to Nick for lottostatisticsXL :p

and i can say it won once in al those years with all 6, had almost 1 5hit win with every comb over the history
and double to 3 times the number of 4 hit wins than expected over the history.

not suprising as i used that history to pick my nums and generate the wheel, and 3 bankers are the most popular 3 n-tup in that history

and that was this date 2003 03 15 it was actually a 5 pls bonus, and a quick look tyells me it won $2,435.35

1 in 3 numbers is very good. You hit 3 numbers in a line but as you need to hit bonus to have a prize, the way you played guarantees a prize in 286 lines. As it's difficult to hit 3 bankers, you could combine 1 banker and 5 numbers of the 13, three times by this wheel: 13,5,3,5=8;

e.g. Bankers= A,B,C

1- A, 1,2,3,4,5
2- A, 6,7,8,9,10
3- A, 11,12,1,3,9 etc
...
8- A, 1,8,9,12,13

Now for banker B:
9- B, 1,7,10,11,12
10- B,.....
....
16-B, ....

and same thing for banker C.

The good thing this wheel gives is the opportunity for you to change (randomizing) the 13 numbers, while maintaining the prize 3if5. You can play 8 lines with banker B (and C) different from those you combine with banker A. This way you spread the possibility to win a prize if only 3 numbers hit in the 13 numbers.

yeah thanks for the post, its been a while but i came back and it makes more sens to me now. i'll prob take your advice, i like the covering more options as well, some how winning what you pay weekly back is a nice goal, would make sitting around waiting for the big one a lot easier :dizzy:

ho hum,

you know how it is, there's as many ways to play the lotto as there are combinations iin the darn thing.

well over in another thread I posted a neat feature of lottodesignerXL i just noted, the reQd tickets to satisify your requred wheel design. with a bit of playing about i found if i made a wheel with 1/2 the required number of lines a 6 hit was pretty likely to get my desired win.

dunno if that makes sense, but i raced off and bought 24 line game with these stats from Lotdesigner

V K T M B L
22 6 4 6 24 1

it says required number of tickets 44, but im playing only 24.
the 4 hits will pay on average back my entry cost, a think i also like. well this is my new strat for a few games, and i will run it for say 10 draws, if i can get 1/2 my entry cost back i'll be happy,
and of course a nice big win is also a sweet win.

heres the wheel

20 24 26 28 32 35
23 29 30 32 35 36
16 17 18 21 29 31
24 27 29 31 33 38
26 30 31 32 34 37
17 20 23 27 34 35
16 23 24 26 30 38
16 20 27 28 30 37
21 25 26 27 29 34
16 23 25 28 31 36
17 22 28 32 33 34
18 24 25 34 36 37
20 21 33 34 36 38
16 17 35 36 37 38
17 22 27 30 31 36
21 22 23 24 31 37
18 20 22 26 29 36
18 20 25 31 32 38
22 25 28 29 37 38
17 20 21 24 25 30
16 22 25 26 33 35
18 21 28 30 33 35
17 18 23 26 33 37
16 18 22 24 27 32

it uses all the highest 22 draw numbers , i'll prob redo it to ad a few lower drawn numbers

3x3 plan

still i try to win this lotto,. cant afford $13 every week at the moment. yet i still dream up new plans. heres the lattest made from suggestion by RP in the rec.gambling.lottery newsgroup.
it actually has , 3 parts, and coveres every number in the draw.

the core is a 15 line 3x3 wheel.

heya all, finally made my 3+3 split banker game after RP's excellent
advice, and it looks something like this.
I used Nick Koutras 's lotto statisticsXL to get the most populr
N-tuplets [ triples] , and of course, the 18 most popular, numbers that
form highest ntuplets , go 1st, also the 1st 6 numbers re the ones im
praying will come out.

the extras are the numbers left out of the 18 .

as you se the 3x3 system is the 1st 15 games,

the following 6 games , are the 6 triplets, followed by numbers that in
most case , also made a triplet , or had a high probability of appearing
with 2 of the prime 3 groups.

the final 3 games are just the left over numbers played with highest
ranked triples.

so basically , I can play a 15 line game, a 21 line game or 24 line
game.

as a ticket is 12 lines I'll prob go for the full every number covered
option.
when I decide to play hehehe
