I usually do the following

including the last draw, do a frequency analysis, select Nos at random excluding the 10 coldest numbers and the last draw.

Unlike bushhappy I dont always Win.

I have got 4 numbers twice in 3 years.

So what method do you use, and how well does it work.

I've joint BusHappy at present and let him do the work whilst I'm working on another theory.

Hi,

Elimination of 16 numbers for 1/8/05

6 8 10 13 15 17 19 22 24 26 42 43 45 46 47 49

The report of the previous 2000 drawings following this strategy:

0-2 correct 60.6%
3-7 correct 39.4%

Risky improvement: add latest draw numbers

What is the name of the program, and how successful are you with it?????.
Any "BIG" hits.

Hi Beaker,

Hope you don't mind me resurrecting your Post. I've had a read of Robert Perkis's article on "Number Reduction" and very interesting it is, too.

However, I've come unstuck on page 5 of the article, regarding Hot, Average and Cold numbers. I don't understand the chart and how it should be interpreted? I really woud appreciate if you, or anyone else could explain.

For example what does this line actually mean:
HOT AVG COLD
16/2 25/4 07/0 Draw # 924 12/04/02

Would appreciate your help.

Cheers,
Sammy

The key is to define our terms. For the purposes of the above
chart and the following condensed chart we'll stipulate . . .

HOT: A number with 3 or more hits in the last 18 draws.

AVERAGE: A number with 1 or 2 hits in the last 18 draws.

COLD: A number with zero hits in the last 18 draws.

(If the need arise, Average can be split into Warm Average (2
hits) and Cool Average (1 hit). Hot can be split into Just
Hot (3 hits) and Hot (4 or more hits). Cold can be split into
Just Cold and Very Cold. Do what works for you as necessary.)

X/Y = Hits / Number of Hot, Average, Cold.

FL 6/53 in groups of 18 draws 856 - 873 through 905 - 922

Hot 3 or more, Average 1 or 2, Cold 0 Zero, hits.

Direct your attention to the "Hot" number column. What should
leap out at you is how the "Hot" numbers do not have more than
four winning numbers!

There is a section, approximately in the middle of that article, specifically on number reduction.

The whold thing is worth the read.

Hi All,

Sorted! I misread and thus did not understand the context of the quote from Robert Perkis' article
Direct your attention to the "Hot" number column. What should leap out at you is how the "Hot" numbers do not have more than four winning numbers!

Now all is well again in "Lotto Land".

I eliminate numbers that haven't hit in the last 10 games and numbers that have hit 2 times in a row.

Usually works pretty well but only eliminates about 12-15 numbers. Then the guessing begins!

Good Luck!

Thank you Iceee :)
It is a good method to use. I agree.

Have you tested the BushHappy method of the number elimination?
I appreciate if someone could upload the excel files again.

Thank you
