My spreadsheets are hosted on this website:

Look in the top middle of the page, below the free webhosting banner...look for this text:
02 OCT UPDATE - New California Lottery Spreadsheets, enjoy! Lottery Spreadsheet for California Daily 3 & Fantasy 5 ( simonsez lottery pick formulas)

I find it amusing that everyone is still using the original strings and not the core ones so much but that's perfectly fine!

I just noticed you mention "core strings" what are those? did you update your formulas elsewhere on this site? Give me the scoop and I'll add a simonsez core sheet too!

found your CORE instructions simonsez...slapped it into the sheet for Fantasy 5 and 6/49 as requested, just DL the latest.

anyway, yup I don't know much about spreadsheets either...as I mentioned this is the first one I've ever made and I started last week.

Now it is a hassle, noticed that when I insert new draw entries, the distribution shifts down to the previous cell, excluding recent draw entries from my distribution table GRRR! I can't tame it heh!

Anyway, I think I better just try to do track distribution in PHP for web page instead...and just use the use spreadsheet for probability charts and stuff.

Hey hey simonsez, you are most welcome, likewise thank you again for sharing your system! I was wondering ifya ever got your spreadsheet goin, asked about it here in the forum, but I guess you didn't notice, so I made my own :)

The spreadsheet is a start anyway...no longer have to scribble on paper or goof around in a notepad doc hah!

I'll try to add a probability chart as I did for the Daily 3 sheets. Perhaps I can add past draws as is...so we can also take into account the sequence in which the numbers were drawn.

A random scenario would be cool too, as I did for the Daily 3. I wanted to be able to test systems on a random scenario too :) Anyway, a Fantasy 5 one would be way more complex since I'd have to figure out how to prevent duplicate numbers being generated in a random ticket.

Blitzed, I am so glad you went ahead and did this because I just am having a doozy of a time trying to learn Excel. I think sometimes I want it to do too many complicated programs and can't figure out the formulas. I'm aware that Excel can do pretty much everything, (at least that' what I've heard) but it's all about the formula, isn't it?

Happy you found them. I am going to revise those a little too when I get a chance. This is still a project in the making, the more I read about all you folks using them I feel bad because I haven't been spending enough time on improving them. If I can just get the pick 3 out of my system I will though. I'm really into that right now. It seems so much easier, ha ha. Like any of it's easy. I think it's going to help me make better strings in the future, though. There's just so much to learn about lottery!

hah! understandable simonsez, whatja got goin for Daily3?

I'm multitaskin now too...tweakin numbers and trying to work out systems and spreadsheets and even PHP lottery web app stuff for Fantasy5, Daily3...been neglecting SuperLotto Plus lately heh!

It would sure be nice to have it all worked out, get all the ideas & work laid out, then simply set back and play the numbers heh!

Spreadsheets can most definately be tricky.

No, it isn't all about the formula. Formulas solve certain problems, but you have the basic layout right too....if cells or rows shift, then it can screw up your formula if you aren't careful. From what I understand the really powerful stuff in spreadsheets is done with Visual Basic...It'd be more practical for me to jsut try to work stuff into a PHP web apps instead.

Uh oh, only have one maple walnut scone left! I better get some other snacks if I seriously intend to sit down here and try to figure out some of this stuff. mmm dried cranberries, should probably make some tea too, to help keep me alert heh!

Hi blitzed!
I've got lots of pick 3 systems on another lottery forum, don't know if I'm allowed to post the link so I won't. Look around and maybe you'll find it.

Hi simonsez, please just email the links to me. My address is on the contact_me sheet in the lottery spreadsheet that I made.

After you mentioned the pick3, I was inspired to program a pick3 wheel on my pick3 page, check it out :)

Hi blitzed,
I just tried emailing you to your email address on the contact page but it wouldn't go through. I will try again. And I'll definitely check out your wheel!

Hi simonsez, my website is very slow at the moment, sorry you might not be able to checkout the pick3 wheel. Maybe it is due to the freehosting service, I've never had problems with it before though.

Anyway, I really need to get the lottery stats & systems down so I can play to win, then one of the first things I get will be paid hosting hah!

Repeating numbers from past 2 draws really pose a problem for me as they rob my chance of hitting any prize. But I cannot include them in my group of numbers as it will be too much to play.

Help Simonsez! anyone HELP!!!!!!

Hi Flexalong!
I was wondering where you've been. I understand what you mean. That is why it is so hard to make the strings smaller because we all know that numbers repeat themselves so it is hard to take them out safely. My best advice is to pick and choose. You can look at it 2 ways. Pick the ones that seem like they are "hot" numbers or pick ones that have only shown up once and are "due" to hit again. Do you have a program or just know which numbers in your game come up more often then others? I would go for the ones that show up more. If anyone else has any ideas, I hope they will share!

Thank you so much for the advice, Simonsez!

I am lousy or should I say lazy:lol2: at spotting trends, bias, hot/cold/due numbers.

I am thinking of using a software as a reference when it comes to number selection.

Any good ones to recommend?...GH?

You're welcome,Flexalong! I am lousy at at spotting trends also. If you want a program to do that for you then GH is very good, my favorite of all softwares. Many charts on there to tell you what are hot numbers and cold but I'm not sure if Singapore's results are included in that software. You might have to punch in all of your past drawings by hand come to think of it. It will make the charts for you after you do that. I would write to the website and see what software they have avalilable for your country. I recently asked a question and they took almost 3 days to get back to me so don't be alarmed if they take awhile to answer.

Best to sample a nice number of draws, calculate probabilities for the set. Avoid hot numbers if they deviate way off probability. Otherwise go with 'em cuz sometimes hot numbers do actually appear in clusters over sequential draws or a small sampling of draws.

I don't think any of us can really recommend a lottery program. Most programs are nothing more than pseudo-random number generators, and lame for stats in comparison to a spreadsheet. That is why there are so many threads about systems & wheels, or tweakin existing systems.

Thanks Simonsez!

May I know how many past drawings are required?...and does the software generate a set of numbers to wheel base on results from the charts?
