Best 6 Number set?

I chart all of the draws in terms of odd/even, I call them,
E-0,E-1,E-2,E-3,E-4,E-5,E-6,E-7.
This being draw 2081, I look at all the draws that end in a one, also look back at the main list, and look back at all of the last several draws.For example in draws that end in a one, here is the following.
E-0=00 times.
E-1=13
E-2=35
E-3=63
E-4=55
E-5=33
E-6=08
E-7=01
Here is what we had in the last few.
draw 2061=E-3
draw 2071=E-2
draw 2081=???
Last time we had an E-4 in a draw ending in a one, was in draw 2051, thirty draws ago.

One day I'll do a hit /skip chart for the entire history of odd/even.
so many charts, and not enough time.There fore, my best conclusion, for this draw, would be 4 even numbers.

Top 15 numbers that have come in draws that end in a one, in order are:47,13,9,45,34,20,14,44,41,37,31,26,24,7,4.
Least drawn in draws ending in one, are:22,15,17,49,8,23.
lately , I've noticed a trend of some hot, and some cold ones coming together.

Having said that, I'm on record as stating the spread number will be an odd number,and for that to happen, we must see one of the following.
A)first number to be even,sixth number to be odd,or
B)first number to odd, sixth number to be even.
Now if filtering pairs out, take out all the combinations that will give you an even numbered spread number.
And my money is on the first number to be even, and the 6th to be odd
We've seen the first position to be an odd number 4 out of the last 5 draws. If positional playing, this combined with the one up, one down scenario should help eliminatating some numbers.
I hope it helps some one out there.

This little test gave me a good idea for
a faster "Best Performing Set" procedure which I'll implement on LottoStatisticsXL for alll sizes of requested groups ie. 6-20+

you hit it on the head - what does 'best set' mean?? :confused:

Best set can mean many things - best 3 hitter, most money 6 number set, best money 6 hitter for 50 draws, best 4 hitter, best 3+4 hitter, on and on.....

this is why I posted that old link.

Define 'best set' and we can find it. Maybe 'Ultimate Set' might be a better question :dance1: ;)

Your English is fine but we need to focus the question.

Nick...What I'D like to see in lotto Statistics XL is the possibility of searching and finding the less 0 hits ....lets say for a group of 4 or 5 numbers....
That could help a lot...To hit more often for more... :agree:

For sets of size <6 and for smaller Duration, Time Frames as you say , you can use the N-tuplets routine of LottoStatistcsXL

Thats 5 numbers from these two groups out of 21 numbers.

6-numbers sets: best, worst and other

After 2081 draws, out of the possible 13,983,816 combinations, here is a brief rundown on performance for 6-numbers sets.
In all cases, the bonus number is not considered and all sets are considered when having at least 3 winning numbers (WN) compared to all winning combinations. An equal weight is given to 3 WN, 4 WN, 5 WN, 5 WN+B and 6 WN. Personally, I believe that a set with more 4 WN has performed better that one with only 3 WN.

A – Generalities:
- 38.8 is the average number of times for all combinations with at least 3 WN
- 8,656,991 combinations (61.9%) have between 33 and 43 times with at least 3 WN
- 12,359,862 combinations (88.4%) have between 28 and 48 times with at least 3 WN

B – Best performing sets:
- 03 - 05 - 06 - 31 - 33 - 47: 76 times with 70x3 WN and 6x4 WN
- 03 - 05 - 06 - 31 - 35 - 47: 74 times with 69x3 WN and 5x4 WN
- 03 - 05 - 31 - 33 - 34 - 35: 74 times with 70x3 WN and 4x4 WN
- 03 - 18 - 29 - 31 - 34 - 47: 74 times with 70x3 WN and 4x4 WN
- 03 - 29 - 31 - 34 - 40 - 47: 74 times with 70x3 WN and 4x4 WN
- 05 - 06 - 31 - 33 - 34 - 35: 74 times with 69x3 WN and 5x4 WN

C – Worst performing sets:
- 06 - 13 - 25 - 29 - 36 - 49: 11 times with 11x3 WN and 0x4 WN
- 15 - 21 - 33 - 37 - 44 - 48: 11 times with 11x3 WN and 0x4 WN
- 01 - 10 - 12 - 17 - 35 - 46: 12 times with 11x3 WN and 1x4 WN
- 15 - 19 - 21 - 33 - 37 - 44: 12 times with 12x3 WN and 0x4 WN
- 16 - 24 - 33 - 42 - 43 - 48: 12 times with 11x3 WN and 1x4 WN

It is interesting to note that 31 (the number having come out most often) is included in all 6 best performing sets and that 5 numbers (03-05-31-34-47) account for 23 of the 36 numbers in those sets. But they do not show up in the 5 worst performing sets. Also numbers 31-34-47 are the 3 numbers having come out most often since the beginning.

ANother interesting fact is none of those sets has the 20-43 pair - the most popular w/ bonus.
