I bet you are not "Pebbles", a new or formerly quiet member, but either that very same person or at least someone close to that same person who used to post here. This one's directed to everyone in general. I'm on a roll (and writing helps cure my hangover). I should probably quit while ahead but I have more to say. Probably even repeating myself from previous postings....
At least there's some open exchange of ideas here and it's not just some, closed mutual admiration society... Just how far do you think being closed site is going to get that "other" group? Since when, in an internet world, did being closed get anyone anywhere? Remember the Easter Islanders? I understand that being cut off from outside resources led to their demise. Why would anyone in their right minds do that to themselves?
Protectionism anyone? Doesn't that ultimately lead to down-turns and downfalls? Their tiny little kingdom will bite the dust. Actually I don't see any practical usefulness for them to even go to the trouble of maintaining an internet site, other than to just boast & brag that they have found and are keeping the good stuff to themselves. Afterall, as they are all too found of saying, they just email info amongst their special in-group!

We are still waiting and waiting for them to hit... It's been how many years now? So who knows, eventually maybe some of their expertise will lead to a breakthrough. Systems knowledge is growing by leaps and bounds. It's not impossible. But do you honestly think that any one of them would share with all the rest? If something like a big hit did happen, boy! Then the real daggers and human nature would come out! I pity the poor suckers who think they've found the welcome mat and acceptance.
So what's the point? It's just an attempt to try to make some others feel like they are missing out on some great, big important knowledge. . . Well I tell you so far they have not demonstrated any practical knowledge. Their overinflated, delusional egos have not given them a dedicated line to the secrets of the universe..... And anyone who falls for that cr*p is just plain naive.
One thing about a forum like this one, being open to new persons is there's always a stream of people coming in with potentially something new and/or useful to say. Oftentimes it's not very worthwhile, but there could be some gems in amongst that riff-raff...
All that previous posting activity, which seemed so entertaining at first, after I read it week after week, I just started to feel badly for those poor guys, as you can't be openly lucky time after time in an effort to keep trying to look good. Although I do give them credit for trying.
To give them some more dues, I did learn stuff from them, which was freely posted, and for this I am grateful. If as result of some of these tips I did ever win something big, I would want to somehow share and gift out of gratitude if at all possible. However, they have now made this impossible. They went and screwed themselves. Unfortunate.
The main reason why it is better here than there is that there's a lot more thought provoking stuff posted here than there is over there. (Plus for those who need it-are you listening Pebbles?-there's a lot more attention to be had here--heh, heh!

It's not just kissy-kissy, boring, continuing back-stabbing bitterness. There's more than that happening here. It's public, free, internationally accessible, and wide ranging in topics.
People come and go all the time. That group played out their schtick, and moved on. C'est la vie!....

I often visit this site and read the posts to update myself on what is going on.
I don't often post because I really have nothing to say.
I haven't hit the big one yet but I am still trying. I am now just starting to play PAYDAY on Thursdays and Super 7 on Fridays and I don't play 649 very often since it went to $2.00 per ticket. I get better play for $2.00 with PAYDAY and Super 7. More bang for my buck so to say.
