St Johns and vicinity continued
Snow..Heavy at times..And near zero visibilities in blowing snow will begin near midnight or overnight and persist most of Sunday. Snow may become mixed with rain near the coast and over lower elevations Sunday afternoon.
Winter revisited...
A deepening low pressure system will approach the district from the southwest tonight then remain nearly stationary near the Avalon Peninsula through Sunday evening.
Although spring is well under way
..This low will develop into a significant storm system resulting in mid winter-like conditions for much of Newfoundland....
