Where are JP winners?

The only fun way in lottery should be playing a significant number of combinations. By significant I mean as much as possible without a headache in a case of total failure. Unfortunately it seems some lottery games may have too expensive tickets and/or too high odds.

Did anyone notice that in the last two months ( since November 1st,2005) it seems QC49 game is the only one that has had 3 JP winners. They also have some easily accessible ticket sales facts for all draws. You check how many JP winners have had all the rest of provincial 49 games in the same time, which ones provide easily accessible ticket sales facts and you might be badly surprised :eek2: as I was really surprised when unintentionally checked.

Furthermore, that made me wonder if a lottery game doesn't have JP winners for some months, doesn't have rollovers and it is not televised what is the point of fun in playing it? Or simply, what is the point of playing it at all...

Well, to resume :

From November1,2005 till now :

QC 49 game – 3 JP winners
All the other provincial 49 games – 0 JP winners.

Also at the other topic babar said the QC 49 has televised drawings.

Therefore, big congrats to Quebec lottery players and their lottery corp for making a game with reasonably priced tickets, TV drawings, ball machines, QP or own numbers option and easily accessible ticket sales figures and that many JP winners.

:agree2:

Definitely tomtom Loto Quebec has the best website in all Canada; it’s really users friendly and with a lot of info. Compare with the cheap stuff that the others corporations has put up, I didn’t notice it before but now it’s quite clear to me, it’s a pity because they make a lot of money. Babar

LotoQuebec's site is very user friendly. However it lacks databases :p

QC49 is not bad at all. It's a shame that no one wants to make a pool for it.

Imo, the central basic info is QPs or own numbers (unfortunately, since games we are talking about are just called lotto games, and not more specifically scratch, or bingo games), and the basic databases a lottery player needs are ticket costs, odds (numbers drawn / numbers total), prizes, ticket sales, and magnitude of winners (especially JP ones) for a period of time...

Having all that a player if interested can simply decide if and which available games can be fun and are really worth any consideration.

I spent a lot of time some time ago searching quite many lottery related web sites and forums all around and my conclusion was the most reasonable and generally satisfactory were those daily pick 5 lotteries since typically they have had daily or quite a few weekly serious $ JP winners, and also all the other prizes and odds may be really good also…. You can read from those games JP winner at some forums quite often, and never have noticed any angry player because of some big disappointment since these games have really nice odds/prize ratio, rollovers, etc…and the most important have serious $ JP winners quite often and sometimes daily…

I don’t know if there is such a pick5 game available to you, but searching the net I noticed your QC 49 game had 2 - 1,000,000 JP winners during November for example, the tickets are 50 cents, and Babar said the game has also televised draws which makes it imo quite nice and interesting. If there are some very serious $$$$ winners among neighbors in close neighborhood in any local game frequently, such a game deserves some attention for sure…

I don't know about lottery pools, I was never interested in them from many reasons. One is if I can’t afford several tickets to play my own numbers I like, than it’s better to don’t play it at all imo…
