wheels vs. random

A question........

Given a choice:

Would you rather wheel 12 numbers or would you rather use a program that takes the 12 numbers and gives you random combinations using only the 12 numbers? Is one more productive than the other? Perhaps this has been discussed in the past but the Search function here leaves alot to be desired.

Wheel the numbers but lock / key 2 numbers with it.

so we have a 2 key numbers + a 3 if 3 from 4 using 10 numbers gives us 34 lines.

So if both your key numbers come in and another 3 from your other 10 numbers = lots of wins.

Well, if you play only one random combination there are chances for some win ... if you play 14 million random combinations then...... you also have some chances regarding winning

Probably might be the same regarding 12 numbers - there is no any guaranties while using random combinations...

Thanks everyone for the insightful responses.....I was curious since I have been using a little program called Truefind which allows you to eliminate numbers and then it randomly selects combinations using what's left over. I ran off 50 combos last week and hit 4 numbers with it....no I didn't play them.....several weeks ago it hit 5 numbers....no I didn't play them, and there have been numerous 3's, so this was the source of my question. I realize I lose the guarantee by not wheeling but it's nice to see some positive results regardless. Time will tell.

I'm not sure, but probably you might find some wheels 4/4 and 5/6 in 12 having about 40 lines or less..However, the main concern is how to get these right 4 or 6 in 12 first

Out of Interest, where did you get the Truefind Program from, and is it Compatable with Windows XP.

Truefind is fine with XP and you can download it at http://users.powernet.co.uk/lottery/
under the Contents heading.
It is a nice little program that posts your combos to a text file for printing....Good Luck

Seems Quite a Nice Site ( Information Wise ), But they Seemed to have Not Kept it Upto Date.
I Just Tried to Download it, But Without Any Success. It did say that some may have Problems. I am Using IE6.
Is it a Stand Alone Program that can be Run from a Disk OR does is Install onto the Hard Drive.

Hi PAB,

I'm running XP Home , SP2, IE6, and Truefind installed on my harddrive....as you said , alot of info, but not up to date....although the developer seems quite eager to converse .... perhaps he can steer you in the proper direction....only other thing I can think of may be your firewall ... I have had that happen to me with other programs and once I dropped the firewall it downloaded.
