What a nice name for a game

And besides nice name, it seems it’s also among the other OK prizes a quite good $300 for 4 numbers out of 5/39..and possibly some more than fine hundreds of $$$ for a 5 right numbers (and all that with some quite reasonable odds..) :agree:

hundreds of $$$

Well, it was a small typing mistake there..the main prize may be expressed only in hundreds thousands of $$$ of course, since the beginning is 100.000…and the game has ROLOVERS :agree: :agree:

Hi Mirage

Well, I was searching using some expressions like pick5, pick4, rolovers, etc and found a quite many nice games. I’m not sure if someone out of their country or state may play this particular one online, but must say it deserves it’s nice name …

BTW, how many lower odds games you play or if used to play had had possibility of rolovers ? How about your local 649 game?

tt,

Re: your question in previous post: I would play more. Not so much 4 number as lot of hassle for smallish prize, But would play 5 number games more. I really don;'t play 6/49 much at all. Maybe a couple lines per draw. It's not just the odds, it's a feeling I get of the lack of fairness to consumer that I get from Can. Lotto Corp. They have the odds highly stacked against consumer and we are being treated like sheep. And that's just one way Canadian lotto consumer is being manipulated, I think.

I think I will contact Ohio directly to see what they say. I think I looked into this before a long time ago but I forget what the answer was-I think it was a yes you can play but you have to come to the state to buy the ticket and then come to state to collect the prize. At least I think that was the answer years ago. Now there may be agencies who will act on your behalf but the main concern is finding an inexpensive legit one.
I'm sure there are some lotteries around the world that are open to people from other countries, and you can buy tickets through agencies but I think most of these internationally playable lottos have pretty staggering odds as well.

Will let you know if I find out from Ohio.

tt,

On topic of better odds, do you ever play the Pick 3?

Honestly wished to, but no…searched several times to find info about ticket sales per draw and prizes won, but without success. Still, that info is maybe somewhere fully exposed , but somehow I wasn't successful in finding it …..also, I believe they don’t use a ball machine ( and ,btw, I’m not sure how many players or potential players have recognized or liked that fact).
In some way, I’m an old-fashioned guy that likes those cheerful bouncy balls, especially if possibly seeing them on TV… So, naah..

Really! No I didn't know this. What do they use-a computer?

Geez  Well so much for that idea. The game just isn't what it used to be.

I’m not sure how is with pick 3 available to you locally… different lottery corporations might have different games, ways in drawing numbers , providing infos , etc..

I believe at this site (don’t know who is the owner of it ) which lists various games outcomes , on the subject of local 49 games from some reason you may find the ticket sales and prizes won per draw info only for the Quebec 49 game.....

Thanks for the site- interesting. LT's posted it before as well.
I live in Ontario btw, I assumed you did too but maybe you don't. When you say Pick 3 is not drawn using bouncing balls I assumed you meant Ontario? I don't find it worth going through all stats since forever. The game(s) change over the months and years. Anyway, imo.
I was thinking of taking another look at pick 3 for Ont. I'm sure that balls were used for the Ont game before-when did this change? (Maybe that's why Pick 3 doesn't work like it used to?)

I’m some quite many miles far away, in BC, so don’t know much about all games available to you. There are different lottery jurisdictions, I believe 4 or 5 or such and they have just some common games, while many are different. So, they might be different regarding the variety and type of games offered , prizes, the ways in drawing numbers, providing infos, etc… My local 49 game is probably different than yours in many ways, but we have the same 6/49 , for example…So , I know approximately nothing about your local pick 3, since never have played it, nor knew there also aren’t available daily pick4 and pick5/30-5/39 lotteries, where players can choose their lucky numbers …

lot of hassle for smallish prize

Smallish… ..Probably there are some bigger payouts possible somewhere, but ..WOW…5000 for a main prize with the odds 1:10000. It looks quite largish and fine to me, especially if considered some boxed numbers playing possibilities, which reduce odds significantly and still with a good prize possibility. …..And, the game should have almost an every day WINNER , which is the most important…

Well, always liked talking about lottery games (and weather and such  ) with guys from the local corner stores and never expected will ever search for the playing non QPs pick4 and pick5 games online possibility … …

Sorry, should have said if locally available a pick 4 would be wonderful but if you have to go thru middle man-agent to play a pick 4 lotto out of your area, that would be too much hassle. That's what I really meant.

WOW  …newer thought about a middle man, even searched about those overseas bookies where it seems people can place quite many possible bets and such. But is seems being a middle-man can be an extremely good business. Can you imagine JUST 2.000 customers paying JUST $10 monthly for placing their bets…..that seems something like 20.000 monthly :eek2:

Hi Madam ,

Well, I'm definitely missing playing my local 49 game since it wasn’t 50 cents /ticket.
It somehow seems in that time there were many players and quite lots of happy winners …

Every lottery that has realistic tickets prices is attractive, of course…

BUT, this topic was actually a small chat about some games that has both good ticket prices and lower odds…

For example, a free ticket for a 2/5, $10 for 3/5, $300 for a 4/5 ,and $100.000 (or more with some rollovers) for 5/5 in a non QPs pick5 game with some reasonable odds look rather attractive, and , the most important, there is supposed to be one or more happy main prize winners very frequently
Also non QPs pick4 games look rather interesting, have very good odds, nice prizes, and , again even offered just locally, there is supposed to be one or more happy main prize winners very frequently (with the odds 1:10000) .

By non QPs games I meant games where players if like that option may choose their own lucky numbers , since at the end that is what they wish and what are paying for.

Or to explain it all in once , you might just check THIS older topic also…

Hi madam,

Yes I play the Ont 6/49. I play it more than the Can 6/49, but the odds are still pretty next to impossible. And it seems like an even harder game to predict than Can 6/49, for whatever reason that might be. The jackpot is almost never won.
