we chase the numbers with no results and quikpicks win?

what?..:agree:

all these people winning with quickpicks and were choosing our numbers with no results?..how could it be?..:finger:

has anyone won anything?

:crap:

well I chase with out any results as well. Although I think you can predict somewhat of a trend from the previous draws. For example the wheel I used yesterday had 3 numbers from the previous draw included however the wrong 3. Now if you look at the history you can see that after three numbers come up twice on the third draw usually no more than 1. Does anyone else use the draw history and does it help?? Paralysis by analysis:spiny:

A quick pick system will likely generate a winner
if tickets sales are very high. Usually when tickets sales exceed
$30 m ...there will almost certainly be a winner.
That's because there are approx only ~13m
combos in 649. $27m likely covers all 649 combos. Roughly 70% of all ticket sales are QPS.
So if a QP wins it does not mean it's a good system or that it's better than
selecting your own numbers. If for instance you check Ontario 49, no jackpot winner for several draws. But many people buy ONT49 QPS but evidently not in sufficently large quantities.

If you want to know how inefficient a QP can be buy a few lines of 10 number Keno.
You will find some combos don't contain a single winning number! This is very hard to duplicate
if you are picking your own Keno numbers !

problem with lotteries is some people lack a basic understanding of stats.
yes ..read at lotterybuddy.com

quick pick winnings are in proportion to the number of quick pick sales
about 70% and since a large % of ticket sales are qps so a large % of winning
tickets will be quickpick BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN you are more likely to win with a quick pick !

If you are not good at preparing your own numbers by all means go the QP route.
The reason some of us prefer to use our own numbers is that
we get good results, not necessarily jackpot but lots of money refunded from time to time.

somewhere i saw that 70% of sales are qp and that 70% of wins are qp. that means that 30% of sales are qp and 30% of wins are qp ( all approximate numbers) that means that if you cant give yourself a better chance by choosing own nuymbers, you at least have an even chance with those who buy qp numbers.

It depends on your number selection skills. Some people are better at estimating probabilities than others. So they are able to get the extra 1 or 2 numbers to help cover the costs of play. For example read this this guy's story:

NIX QUICK PICKS
Quick Picks are used by lazy people who want to be in the action without putting any effort into winning. When you read articles about jackpot winners, it appears as though they all used either Quick Picks, birth dates, or their children's ages. The vast majority of people do play that way. If the majority of tickets sold are Quick Picks, then it makes sense that the majority of jackpots won should be won with Quick Picks. However, when I saw the actual statistics, I found that you have a better chance of winning by picking numbers randomly out of a hat than by using Quick Picks.

yup, as I've always thought...very bloody unlikely that the lottery entity will draw the winning combo AND have their computer spit it out as a quick pick too!

cheers!

i agree what are the odds of 123456?.i have been buying quick picks for years with no results.i had 4numbers consecutive once..a few weeks ago a pool at work starts and hundreds of quick picks and not even close.i looked at the last 20 draws and the results are posted in a reply in this section.50% of the time 2 in a row e.g.7,8 13,14 last week i picked mine and got5 exactly 1number out,so now add and subtract one!2 more tickets and 2000$made!

Very interesting.
I will change my strategy.
What I'll do is simple. Since all my numbers have been drawn from a paper bag with very poor results so far, I'll start using a brand new paper bag to pick my numbers.
Thanks for your post it is a huge revelation to me.

thats funny

all bags aside.what would be your odds on any particular #? 1/49 right? yet in the last 20 draws 47 has come up 5 times and 48 4 times and 49 3 times.take a look at how many times a number is in the following draw.its absolute nonsense if people say the odds are exactly the same.if so,then the whole idea of predicting numbers like this website's 20 pick are rubbish? 2 numbers consecutive has happened in 9/20 draws.most people space their numbers, but the wheel on this site places a sequence like that.. the problem is that people are for the most part either lazy or not analytical enough to recognize the signature of the lottery, and trends so when they pick numbers, the success is poor.i am new to playing around with this ,but come an engineering background.soon people will know me

when it comes to 649 ive started doing quick picks lateley. theres just too many numbers to wrap my head around (almost 14 million possible combinations) so instead im working and doing my own picks on the pick 3 (only 1000 combinations) and that may not be a lot of numbers to play around with, but youv e also got to consider the odds. other peoples systems and some of my own (i have a pick 3 system that is guaranteed to win) just cost too much. my pick 3 system is that there are 2 doubles a week. so to cover all doubles straights costs 300$. a win would be 500$(so 200$ profit) you have to play every day. you have to triple the bet every day because it is not an even money game like blackjack where you can double every bet. i think by the 6th time you play and have not seen doubles yet, you have to play 270,000$ to win something. this is a guaranteed system as long as you have unlimited cash to put into it and enough time in your day to purchase 270,000 or a million tickets.
