Hi Guys anyone got any real good filtering techniqes? not using 3rd party software...
l am in need of further filtering in the software program l am writing.. the techniques would obviously have to be mathematically sound...anyone got anything? and willing to share/swap bits of info?:agree2:

Hi Thook

U probably already have the usual filters on your list ie hot/med/cold, sums, odd/even, above/below(25), decades etc.
Root sums is always an interesting one as well as amount of numbers allowed from the last draw.

Hi LT...

Yes, you are right, l already have a lot of filters... thanks for the idea of balls allowed from the last draw... we have a pure mathematics calc that takes care of that at combination level...

The above/below 25 will not work for me (it may for others!) as my first calculation is at ball type.. ie.. single, single, teen, twenty, thirty, forty...etc... so l already know where to place the bias of money for combinations...depending on how much a group/syndicate has alloted to spend...this is all done automatically...

So l know which types of ball sets, then go about filtering the ball type set itself...ie.. odd/even..total sum...sum between each ball..total range (6th ball-1st ball) then the range between each ball.. etc etc.. l do around 22 calculations for each line...

But l am interested you comment about 'root sums' what is it?

cheers Thook...

Root sum

Basically take the sum of the 6 numbers, then add the numbers making up the sum. For example, for a sum of 124, the root sum is 7 (1+2+4) and for a sum of 198, the root sum is 9 (1+9+8 = 18 and 1+8 = 9). The root sum can take any number from 1 to 9, never 0.

For all 13,983,816 combinations, root sums of 3, 6 and 9 happen 1,553,784 times each and root sums of 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8 happen 1,553,744 times each. Basically, 11.11% in each case.
