Yes, we have revised our view of veterans -- when John Wayne was making movies "we" were heros and "they" were villans. Now we are more inclined to see them all as loyal citizens following the orders of their governments. Vets have experienced unbelieveable hardships and many have paid with their lives. Win or lose, we need to remember and honour their struggles.
