HI everyone,

I am going to use LottoMan (LM) for KENO game.

1-LM do not accept game with more than 6 number (NBR)
2-Thw game i play draw 10 NBR from 1 to 50.
3-LM use Database (historic) like this:
Date,N1,N2,N3,N4,N5,N6,Bonus 1,Bonus 2
Date,P1,P2,P3........
.
.
Let's start:
-My Database look like this:
Date,N1,N2,N3,N4,N5,N6,N7,N8,N9,N10
DAte,P1,P2,P3...........
..
...
Etc...
LM would not use this database .So i creat 10 database for 10 game in LM.

-First game i call it Pick 1 or Ball 1 or Position 1.
Database look like this :
Date,N1
Date,P1
Date,Q1
.....
.....
Lowest NBR =1
Highest NBR = 23
Number of pick =1

-Second game i call it Pick 2 or Ball 2 or Positin 2.
Database look like this :
Date,N2
Date,P2
Date,Q2
.....
.....
Lowest NBR =2
Highest NBR = 24
Number of pick =1

-Third game i call it Pick 3 or Ball 3 or Posion 3.
Database look like this :
Date,N3
Date,P3
Date,Q3
.....
.....
Lowest NBR =3
Highest NBR = 33
Number of pick =1

-Fourth game i call it Pick 4 or Ball 4 or Posion 4.
Database look like this :
Date,N4
Date,P4
Date,Q4
.....
.....
Lowest NBR =4
Highest NBR = 36
Number of pick =1

-Fifth game i call it Pick 5 or Ball 5 or Posion 5.
Database look like this :
Date,N5
Date,P5
Date,Q5
.....
.....
Lowest NBR =7
Highest NBR = 39
Number of pick =1

ETC......
Here we have LM Suggesting NBR to play for each ball or position.
If your Keno is to pick 20 from 70 you can creat 20 game to pick your NBR for 20 different postion. And there is a very usefull graph
in LM "Historical Data " where you can see the movements for each NBR in each position or pick.

HOW TO CREATE NEW GAME FROM YOUR HISTORY DATABASE.

1.Open your history with excel.
2.Once you have all your dates and numbers in each columns.
let's say you have Date in column A row 1 ,the First ball or number in column B row 1,the Second ball or number in column C
row 1 etc...
3.Highlight Column A where you have Date and copy it.
4.Open a NEW sheet and once opened .Click in Row 1 Column A
.Past your Date .Now click in Row 1 Column B and enter " ," (coma)in the same new sheet.Auto fill all the column B with "," until the last Date you have in your History.
5.Minimize your new sheet.
6.Maximize the sheet where you have your game hitory.
7.Highlight all Column B where you have your first ball and copy this column B.Minimize this sheet and Maximize the one where you have past your date and enterd ", ".In Column C row 1 Past
the numbers for your Ball 1.
8.Click any where in this Sheet.
9.Save this sheet as File name exemple "Ball 1 Keno " and as file type "Text(Tab delimeted) ".
10.You just created a database for your New game with the first ball or positon 1 or pick1.
11.Repeat items 3 to 6.In item 7 highlight all Column C where you have your second ball and copy this column C.Minimize this sheet and Maximize the one where you have past your date and enterd ", ".In Column C row 1 Past
the numbers for your Ball 2.
You just created a database for your New second game with the second ball or positon 2 or pick2.
12.Continue until you create all database.Exemple if your Keno is pick 20 from 70 you have to make 20 database for 20 games.
13.Now that you have history for ball 1 or postion 1,ball 2 ,ball3,
ball 4,ball 5 etc... look like this :
(see the beginning of this post).
14.Run LOttoMan
15 Click on "File" and click on "New"
16.A pop up Window appear.Double click on "DATA" in right window.
17 In window under "File Name".There is "*.Lmd".Erase "*" and enter the name you choose for your new game. For exemple KENO1.
18.Click on " OK ".
19.The main window of LM open with no data in it.
20.We need to import the database we have creat for that game.
21.Click on "Game"
22.Go on "Import..." move to "ASCII Delimited..."and click on it.
23.Apop up window appear called "Automatic Database Update"
click on " OK " button.
24.Another window appear.Double click on line " :C\ " in the right window.
25. The list change.
26.Double click on line " DOCUME~1 " to open it.
27.Double click on line where you have save your database you creat erly on.exemple " MYDOCU~1 ".
28.A list appear on left window.
29.At the small window in the left at the bottom called "Liste of Types ",click on the arrow and chose " Text files(*.txt) "
30.At the big window at the left click on your file to import it to LM.
in our exemple it will be " Ball 1 Keno.txt ".
31.LM will load your database for ball 1 for game KENO 1.
32.Do the same for the rest.

Good luck.

Up until now I haven't heard of Keno played on a 50-number board. Is there a web site available I can peruse for further information on this game? I'd be looking specifically for information I can add to my own website.

morocco - thanks so much for sharing that.
Using LM for Keno is VERY interesting. As Beaker has already said - please keep us advised on your innovative approach. I have always been a big fan of LottoMan and if it works for Keno that would be great.

Using LM for Keno

Hi evryone,
I 'm going to use an exemple for Keno:
-Canada Ontario Daily Keno from 06/18/1996 until 12/20/2003
-Highest Number is 70
-Numbers Drawn 20
-Numbers to select 10

Since we have 20 NBR drawn we need to create 20 games in LM.
And we create our game we have just to update each pick.

*First game we call it Pick 1 Hghest # is 21 Lowest # is 1 21#
*2d """"""""""""""" Pick 2 Hghest # is 31 Lowest # is 2 30#
*3d """""""""""""" Pick 3 Hghest # is 34 Lowest # is 3 32#
*4th """"""""""""""" Pick 4 Hghest # is 40 Lowest # is 4 37#
*5th """"""""""""""" Pick 5 Hghest # is 42 Lowest # is 5 38#
*6th """"""""""""""" Pick 6 Hghest # is 43 Lowest # is 6 38#
*7th """"""""""""""" Pick 7 Hghest # is 46 Lowest # is 8 39#
*8th """"""""""""""" Pick 8 Hghest # is 47 Lowest # is 9 39#
*9th """"""""""""""" Pick 9 Hghest # is 50 Lowest # is 11 40#
*10th """"""""""""""" Pick 10 Hghest # is 53 Lowest # is 14 40#
*11th """"""""""""""" Pick 11 Hghest # is 56 Lowest # is 17 40#
*12th """"""""""""""" Pick 12 Hghest # is 57 Lowest # is 21 37#
*13th """"""""""""""" Pick 13 Hghest # is 61 Lowest # is 23 39#
*14th """"""""""""""" Pick 14 Hghest # is 63 Lowest # is 25 39#
*15th """"""""""""""" Pick 15 Hghest # is 65 Lowest # is 28 38#
*16th """"""""""""""" Pick 16 Hghest # is 66 Lowest # is 33 34#
*17th """"""""""""""" Pick 17 Hghest # is 67 Lowest # is 38 30#
*18th """"""""""""""" Pick 18 Hghest # is 68 Lowest # is 41 28#
*19th """"""""""""""" Pick 19 Hghest # is 69 Lowest # is 45 25#
*20th """"""""""""""" Pick 20 Hghest # is 70 Lowest # is 52 19#

(N.B. 38# mean numbers of balls used by pick from 70 balls in the game)

I used 5th game Pick 5 to have this static from LM for Canada Ontario Daily Keno from 06/18/1996 until 12/20/2003 on

You see in tables above that number betewen 10 and 22 are the most frequent for this game on Position 5 and we reduce # to play just to 12 for pick 5.
And if you have a programe to know the repeat frequency for skip
it can help you reduce more #.(I hope that one day Mr Nick Koutras will prduce a program to do HIT/SKIPS for positin).
I do not know the rsult for 12/21/2003.If someone got it please
poste it here.
I use an excel to do skips for positon and it give me this:
# 13 hits 16 times at skip 0
# 16 hits 13 X at skip 2
# 14 hits 12 X at skip 3
# 17 hits 6 X at skip 12
# 20 hits 6 X at skip 4
# 10 hits 4 X at skip 11
# 11 hits 4 X at skip 13
etc....
I use also Hit/Skip Table for: KENO MAROC from Mr Nick Koutras
with LM to pick my #.
LM suggest # for 21/12/2003 in order of importance:
16 , 15 , 17 , 18 , 14 , 13 , 20 , 21 , 22 , 12 , 24 , 11 , 23 , 10 , 19 ,
25, 9 ,27 , 8 , 28 , 30 , 29 , 31 , 7 , 6 , 32 , 33 ,5

Now i'm going to use Vector Analysis in LM:
it has give 78% up , 11% down and 12% flat the last # drawn was #13

78% UP = +2,+3,+4,+5,+7,+14,+20 so if i add 13 to those # i'l
get :15,16,17,18,20,27,33.

12% Flat = 0 so if i add 13 to 0 # i'lget :13

11% Down = -4 so if i add 13 to -4 # i'lget : 9.

So far i have 10 # with high freq :.15,13,16,18,14,17,12,19,20,11
LM suggestions:............................16,15,17,18,14,13,20,21,22,12
Vector Analysis :............................15,16,17,18,20,27,33,13,9
Hit/Skip :........................................13,16,14,17,20,10,11,21,,12,15

Now it's time to choose wich # to play for pick 5 ?

You can use Tables from LottoMan to see how to select your number to play for keno.
I'll do the same for all the 20 game .

To Beaker and LT,
Thank you i will post here as more as i learn from LM.

best of luck.
