Use of wheels as "Bankers"

Bankers & Wheels...

You can use "Bankers" from small groups
of numbers, with the guarantee that if 3 of the
numbers you selected will come, then you will have at least
one block having 2 correct numbers.

Interesting Nick I tought about that in the past but to play them in a wheel each set of Banker as you call them must be played over and over again isn't it?
Lets say I have a pick 4 numbers wheel in 8 numbers having a 3 if 4 garantee in 8 games ...Since I want to play this in 6/49 with some bankers I also have to play each banker 8 times and if I have 6 banker it means that I have to play 48 games....
:eek2: :eek3:

I think playing many games is the best way to get a win with a banker. One would have to be exceptionally good at picking a winning #, and personally, I've only been able to pick an exact # a couple of times.

My 2 cents worth...

I use a three tiered wheel sometimes for my Play to Win group.

Single - Quad - Hex in 120 combos

With a 5 if 6 win guarantee.
IF the Single plus 2 from the quad group and 3 from the hex group hits, I have a minimum 5# prize.

I can post more information later if anyone is interested; can't now, because it, and the details are stored at the office.

Dejazzman,

I am interested in your wheel. Could you post it and give a more detailed description?

Cheers,

If I well understand Dejazzman...

let's select 11 numbers and distribute them like this:

#1 - in every line
#2,#3,#4,#5 (four numbers = Quad)- 2 of them per line
6,7,8,9,10,11 (six numbers = Hex) - 3 per line

Let's combine 1 + 2 of the quad + 3 of the Hex; that makes 1*(4*3/2*1)*(6*5*4/3*2*1) = 120 lines:

1, 2,3, 6,7,8
1, 2,3, 6,7,9
1, 2,3, 6,7,10
1, 2,3, 6,7,11
1, 2,4, 6,7,8
.....
1, 4,5, 9,10,11

This wheel hits_6 when the conditions happen: 1+2ofQuad+3ofHex; if 6ofHex hits it wins only 3_hits ( a lot of). That would be covered , playing the Hex as a line! (fullfilling 121 lines)

If you have a good method to predict when #1 comes, it's a very good wheel; if not, you may wheel 11_6_5_6 in 22 lines! In the first wheel you can not hit 5if6 when #1 doesn't hit and #2,#3,#4,#5 hits (for example), but in the second you ever win 5 if 6 of 11 numbers happen.

Playing 11_6_5_6=22 you can get 98 lines more, the way you want guaranteeing the third prize(5if6).

I have the wheel saved in Lotto Pro and it's at the office. :(
and the Lotto Pro is (was) a trial version. I meant to e-mail the wheel home but I forgot to attach it.

I can explain how it works now, though.

I created it to use when I have one guaranteed number and a very good chance of hitting 2 out of a group of four strong numbers.

The SINGLE one number is played in all 120 combos.

The QUAD four numbers cover every possible pair, hence 6 groups so if you get 2 from the quad group right you get 2 on one line.

Example
12
13
14
23
24
34

Each of the six groups above contain 20 combos using the HEX Group of 16 numbers. Therefore the wheel uses 1+4+16 or 21 numbers in 120 tickets.

For clarification, each of the 6 groups of 20 contain 3 common DN's, The SINGLE, and two from the QUAD group.

The remaining 3 numbers in each combo are based on 16 numbers wheeled 3 at a time with a 2 if 3 guarantee. Therefore, if you have the single hit, 2 from the Quad group hit, and 3 from the sixteen (hex) hit, you will get at least one 5# prize.

IN addition to the above. The groups of 3 from the 16 (Hex) were created and randomized using the CM software.

I hope this answers some of your questions.

I'll post the wheel at first opprotunity.,

Playing 120 combinations while using One single 120 times seems pretty risky......especially with 20 more numbers only, and those exact 2 and exact 3 prerequisites for a sure 5

Firstly I thought his wheel had 11 numbers but for a 21 numbers wheel it seems very good. 21_6_5_6 (100%) has a lot of lines (> 1000). Organizing numbers like he does is a very good strategy:agree:

Besides, to expect that one number hits next draw it's easy for some players. Some players hit 1 number +- in 4 draws!!

To expect 3 in 16, seems to me very practical, not spectacular but real the most of draws if you have a good method of picking numbers. Remember that 2 numbers are expected in 16.

It's possible to reduce the 16_3_2if3 from 20 lines to 19 in CoverMaster. That would reduce to 114 lines.

As the wheel 16_3_2if3=19 gives 3if4 in +-13%, you can grow up the 3if4 probabillity if you randomize it, before you combine it with the 6 blocks of the the other 5 numbers. You guarantee the 2if3 and you sum the 3if4 cover

Well, probably all this might be true in some fair surroundings...but, in my opinion that 6/49 game lost all of it's beauty while going to $2/ticket, turning the game into pure money thing. Since then, all wheels and number of playable combinations I see just in $$ necessary to play, which regarding the odds sometimes looks a bit funny....or sad, might be better to say. This 1 + 4 + 16 wheel requires 120 lines , which shows straight $240  necessary amount besides it. As you said, SOME players might hit that 1 number +- in 4 draws. That means SOME players might risk $960 being somewhat confident there may appear that single for sure, but still 21 numbers altogether cover less than half field to just some extent ...and still only eventually may promise 5 with some further very tough restrictions…
:(...personally, don't see any logic in it..and don't care about eventually getting some of those 2 + B at all...$960 is some serious money these days , especially compared to this wheel chances and 6/49 odds at the end...
