(UK) Lotto Televised Draws To Be Scrapped

Did anyone hear about Camelot scrapping the televised draws as from January 2013? :(

It appears that there is a new show on Saturday evenings to be broadcast from the brand new state-of-the-art facilities at Pinewood Studios.

Here is a quote from the website I have listed below:-

"Reflecting people’s changing viewing habits and greater use of online technology to obtain the winning numbers, results-only captions for The National Lottery’s other draws will be shown on BBC One on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 22.35 straight after News at Ten.".

I personally keep a record of the order drawn, so I will be contacting Camelot again, to see if this information is going to made available by them on their website or suchlike.

Here is a link to the PINEWOOD group website that mentions this:-

The drawn order is currently available on their website under their "download draw history" facility, but only for the past 180 days.

The problem is this won't be in real time and you might have to wait several hours for the latest to appear.

Merseyworld also (hopefully) will will carry on as normal with the drawn order results. They are pretty quick, but may rely on the live draw as their source.:)

This is true, but from past experience I don't fully trust their information.

Yes, they are not particularly quick in posting the data.

Yes, I have used Richard's site for many years as confirmation of data. He has BTW, posted a message concerning this on his site in the Newsflash link.

I presently have two on going issues with Camelot at the moment concerning their ThunderBall & Euromillions historical data. I found TWELVE errors in the Euromillions historical data and NINETEEN errors in the ThunderBall historical data. Doesn't really inspire you with confidence, does it???

I think this will inspire conspiracy theorists even more :agree: !

Hi PAB,
For comparison, you can also access <http://lottery.merseyworld.com/>. They've got every draw from the very beginning in drawn and ascending order. They are pretty quick with updating and they have other analyses, too.
Best regards,

Yes, I do tend to use Richard's site the most to check historical data as well as Camelot's.
