Try this link:

Once you have the numbers, why not join us on the Number-Pickers Challenge thread, where we select 20 numbers for the UK Lotto and test our skills against other lotto players.

Good luck!

Thanks very much for the link. Much appreciated.

Poked around and eventually was able to download in a CSV format. Any further updates I will use the download facility on the UK Lotto Site.

The system I am currently writing is using Visual Basic with an SQL LocalDB database and is currently working with Australian lotto games OZLotto, Powerball, Lotto Sat/Mon/Wed and because my brother is in South Africa I have put support in for their Lotto and Powerball games.

Now an old friend who is in the UK asked if I would support that to. So hence the request.

I started off doing my system in Excel and it was looking good. I haven't actually written a program in any language in 10 years or so, so thought I would try get back into the swing of things. Have some good results at the moment, not gambling on my predictions yet, but it is starting to look more and more promising.

When you just look at the draw results with out even doing any calculations, do see patterns emerging ? Like for instance in Lotto Saturday here in Australia have noticed that if a number has been out for over 15 weeks or more, then when it then gets drawn it is usually gets redrawn with 5 games ?

Yes! I'm big on dividing the numbers into 3 or 4 groups by various criteria (skip count, frequency, decade) and trying to predict the next pattern. One that I use quite successfully is looking at groups of numbers by skip count. Often, you can predict that 1 or even 2 of the groups will be missing, allowing the elimination of 10-15 numbers.

I think the long-out number followed by a short skip is one of the classic Gail Howard patterns. I think you could Google some information on "flag formation".

Good luck!
