Third-Largest Lottery Prize Ever Won in Alberta

Many lottery players choose their own numbers based on family birthdates, ages or other significant dates, but Robert Medwid selected his numbers using a less conventional method. The Red Deer resident and his partner, Sabrina Lonsberry, had reason to celebrate that method when the numbers Robert chose based on weather patterns in Scarborough, Ontario netted them $13,809,794 on the November 29th LOTTO 6/49 draw!

Thirty-nine-year-old Robert, a stucco contractor, has been playing the same set of numbers for the last four years, and he explained how he originally selected them.

"A few winters ago, I decided to research the climate, humidity and snowfall on LOTTO 6/49 draw nights
in Scarborough, Ontario (where draws are conducted), and I chose my numbers based on that information."

Hello Brad,
it's great to know that a person (Robert) has a personal lotto system that worked---after four years of nothing and I am very happy for him but... the only things that I get from the weather conditions are: chronic arthritus, colds, a large heating bill and my gasoline buys at the pump are getting into the habit of steadily going up no matter what type weather is involved!
