Well, all this reminds me of a guy I worked with. Conversation was something like:

The guy: How about playing some lotto tickets together?

Me: Nah, tickets are too expensive now and I gotta pay some bills…

The guy: How about playing that cheaper provincial one?

Me: Nah, I don’t like any lottery game if is not televised and if not possible to see those cheerful balls bouncing. Btw, odds are quite high so if one day they introduce a regular pick5 or pick4 we may throw a few tickets together for sure….

The guy: What are you talking about? I saw draws a week ago on TV and BTW among others also a pick4 and pick5…

Me : ……Naah, maybe some other time (without explaining those draws on TV were from the States )....
