To George - ticket printing

George,

this is OT for the forums but thought I would reply here in case anyone else had any thoughts.

That SW you suggested - I have downloaded it but haven't looked into it -
how do you get the numbers(tickets) into the boxes? Can you create some kind of input file or do you have to type in the numbers direct?

I want to be able to create a ticket list and then just print these things off but if I have to manually enter these tickets I save no time

An input file will work just fine, I use it all the time:D... ...its a bit tricky to figure out... ...here is what you need to do.

Make the file extension you are using .txt... ...something like playSlip.txt... ...inside it, follow this layout...
Code:
1,2,3,4,5,6
2,3,4,5,6,7
3,4,5,6,7,8
4,5,6,7,8,9
5,6,7,8,9,10

Once you get the file prepared do this...
  • File
  • Open
  • Canada Lotto 649.DB Open
  • Mode
  • Performance - Combinations
  • Multi-System Selection...
  • then change 8 to 6
  • there is an Import Button just left of the words System Group
...locate your file and Open it...
  • (your selections should be loaded and displayed, ready to print)
  • Print Coupons... ...feed in the play slips just like you did in the Ticket Printing Properties you did earlier,
(For Ontario play slips, the game selection box (which will have to be filled in) must be in the bottom left corner when feeding in the forms.)
When you are done printing, click Close.

One last thing you do (only once), so you don't have to Open again and again when you start the program.. ...Options and then Preferences... ...the last box should be checked so it remembers your settings on exit.

You'd have to figure out the settings for Super 7... ...I never bothered to play due to the Quick Picks we must accept:sick:.

Regards,
George:)

What is the name of this software you refer to?

...tell me about it, most of those so called programs have errors:no:... ...Lotto Whiz, Lotto Hat to name few... ...then there are places like Sympatico.com where I've even told them about errors:rolleyes:...
