Since the stuff got deleted I don't know how out of line the alleged spamer was.

However when there is a place that says "anything goes" well spam would be part of anything in my book.

For the title part of the thread, I can c why u would post that.

But as defined by the rules of registration - to have membership priveledges here a person must agree not to spam, advertise other forums and generally be nice to everyone etc.

"Anything Goes" means within the confines of "lottery" topics and also does not allow for wide margins of internet abuse.

By not seeing the thread you didn't miss anything of any importance - it was just a spammer posting a link to his site where he sells illicit copies of popular software.

Spam and theft of digital property is the internet's greatest evil IMHO and while it has ruined all of our email services we can do our little bit to "whack the moles" here at the forums via reporting and taking out the garbage.
