What is the format? 000 to 999? or a 3/XX?
If it is a traditional Pick3 numbers game. You might try plugging in 4 favorite numbers into a Unique 4 Digit Box Wheel, and play the 4 picks.

Wheel: 1,3,6,7 Unmatched [6-Way Box]:

I think there is a 72% chance of 3 different numbers being drawn. With a set like that, you have 40% of the playfield covered.
Straight/Box split bets, or Box bets is the way to go, to take advantage of the 1 in 167 odds, or 1 in 333 odds for doubles.
Draw #1 of the Daily 4 game here, I won a Box bet by simply merging my wife & I's birthdates into a pick, pure luck

As with any lotto game, the most common event is the skip zero, i.e. a repeat from last game. In the case of Pick 3, 61% of games will have a repeat from the last drawn combination, so just a little bit of history required. (72%
OTOH, a pair from the last game repeats only about 16% of the time, so you can eliminate combinations with those pairs most of the time.

hiya Icewynd...dunno, depends upon the prize Bloubul is after...look at MO pick3 for example:

In MO pick3 example, I'd rather bet straight/box split-bet, even ifya do not win the straight-side of the bet...but manage to win the box-side, it pays $50 or $100. Pair bet must match exactly to pay $60. No consolation prize heh!
