Some Multi-Cover Lotto Designs...

Some new Multi-Cover Lotto Designs with small parameters.

MCLD(10,6,4,6+10,6,3,4)=4

1 3 4 5 6 10
2 4 5 7 8 9
2 4 6 7 8 9
1 2 3 8 9 10

MCLD(11,6,4,6+11,6,3,4)=5
1 2 3 4 5 6
1 7 8 9 10 11
2 3 4 7 8 9
2 3 4 7 10 11
5 6 8 9 10 11

MCLD(12,6,4,6+12,6,3,4)=7 with 4 missing ****
1 2 3 4 5 6
1 2 3 7 8 9
1 4 5 6 7 10
1 4 8 10 11 12
2 3 4 7 8 9
2 3 7 8 11 12
5 6 9 10 11 12

I follow the following terminology:
MCLD=multi cover lotto design
V=12 =total numbers
K=6 =ticket size
T=4 =to hit
M=6 =if drawn
L=1 =how many times this event happens

Hiya Nick, those are very nice wheels:thumb:

most people I know play from a pool of 15,18, or upwards of 24 numbers...do you have MCLD's which go out that far?

I imagine they'd still be reasonable considering the 4if6+3if4 criteria.

cheers!

Hi blitzed,

At the moment I do not have many designs above v>15.
I'm working on an improved and fast LottoDesigns Optimizer.
Soon as I'll be satisfied with it I'll be able to generate such designs,
and I'll be glad to post any required.

I'll have to note, that if we want to win some significant prizes on a Lotto Game we shall stick to small Designs with V<15 since they are very affordable.

hi Nick, that sounds nice.

do you have any designs which allow an over-due number to be spun through all the picks?

also, do you have any pick5 designs?

anyway, if you wish, perhaps I can create interactive versions of your optimized wheels...as I've done for some reasonable wheels here:
http://crazynuts.hollosite.com/649_lottery_picks/

cheers!

I have a few pick 5 MultiCover wheels.

They are not easy to construct because of the limitations
of total tickets.

I'm working on a SuperFast Wheel optimizer that will be able to
generate very good "covers" and "multicovers" and "optimized" wheels.

Soon as I finish it I'll post a utility to "optimize"
any Existing Design.

Hello Nick, that definately sounds like a dynamic piece of code!

anyway, earlier today I whipped this up for generating quick picks from a pool of numbers:
http://crazynuts.hollosite.com/my_lottery_quick_picks/

I may do something similar, allowing to set ranges specific to ball slots, perhaps cobble some basic wheel options as well.

cheers!

Nice piece of work blitzed, I have been playing around with it.
Definitely one can make quick cash from your QP/self-pick program
Say you have 5/7 in your pool for Ont Keno ..more than ~60% of the time
you strike 4/4 on first try within 5- 10 combos.
Now, that is quite good as some days a 5/7
sample is not hard to put together for Keno..

Hello Nick

I am looking for a pick 6 wheel for 16 numbers. Is there one that can guarentee a 4 or 5 and what would be the least amount of picks?

thanks

Blitzed or Nick

Is there a wheel out there for 20 number 6 pick that could do this??

I want to have maybe 3 numbers out of the 20 chosen and to stay in 1 column. For example I may want 1 3 10 to stay in column 1 and 22 25 29 to stay in column 3 and so on to make up 20 numbers but only certain numbers go in each 6 columns??

hiya turtle0747,

In the past I've done programming to generate random picks which follow certain ballslot criteria. However, I've never attempted somethin like that for wheels.

I'd probably just wing it by slappin a set of three alternating key numbers in the first column, another set in second column. Then I'd finish it off by slappin a pick4 wheel on the end of it.

16number 2if2 pick4 wheel in 20picks:

Perhaps Nick, or one of the Excel gurus have elegant solutions, but that is my easy cheesy method:rolling:

pls explain

Blitzed,

you mention "2if2" what does that mean?
I've seen such abreviations before but what do they mean?
Would you please explain.

And what is the GOAL of those wheels? Obviously the less tickets used to get some kind of coverage the better, but what are the criteria for comparison of wheels?
And how can you calculate/compare if a wheel is a good one?

hello SoftwareTester,

"2if2" simply means that you are guaranteed at least one pick matching 2 numbers, if your pool of numbers has at least 2 of the numbers in the draw.

La Jolla Wheel Repository has the best collection of good wheels that I know of:
http://www.ccrwest.org/cover/HIGH.html

t=# heading is your goal of how many numbers to match
v# column on the left is the size of your number pool
k# row on top is how many ball slots are in you rlottery game.

yes, a 2if2 or 3if3 wheel is more practical, gives a base match guarantee and has a more realistic chance of performing well for you.

also, this Nick A Quid webpage has some nice little 649 wheels with variable coverage that you might like:

cheers!

Hello Blitzed

I have developed a basic program to put numbers in 6 columns using only numbers from each column. For example, if I want 1 2 3 10 to stay in column 1 of the 6 number pick, it will. What I need from you guys are some filters to narrow down the choices. Is there any standard filters out there that are good?

Thanks
