Off course you are free to create another web forum with a different target!
I am certain that most people from this forum will become members of the new one also.
Nevertheless if you want to attract more people to the new forum you will have to open it up a bit more than this one... I would say that at least having private messages on the other one will be required.... that will be a good way to avoid public flame wars! And believe me those will happen and quite frequently, you will probably have to nominate some active supervisors and all!

- thanks thornc - that area has been on my mind as well. I would love to open it up fully just as here was in the beginning as well but silly people still keep trying to harm our community. As recently as a few weeks ago the attack was comming in via the "admin" member on this bb.
It is too bad that one person can spoil the freedoms of so many others but I think I have to keep the other board tight or the silly person will simply go there for the freedom of membership, email harvesting and member disruption.
Re moderators/supervisors - I think that is a great idea. If the other board gets legs, that aspect would really fit in.
