Omega16{31,32} hits lunchtime-within its 800 draw historical high. Maybe for extra safety forecasts should be done with the last 800 draws. that should tame the rogue pairs which exhibit anti-social behaviour.

I've picked up a few flaws with my program introduced by my laziness to re-define the data structures, I thought I could get away with my pre-sangoma structures. I'm now in the process of re-writing the program from scratch with the proper definitions. Should be finished by Tuesday.
It should be easier to use and understand compared to it's predecessor.
At this stage, I'm going to limit it to the full 1100 odd pairing and possibility in the future, check the feasibility of adding the full 100 000 odd triplets into it.

Sangoma hits hard today

I don't normally bet on the 49s, prefering to research it. Come lunchtime I decided to put my money where my mouth was. £5 on each number in omega16. One of the numbers comes in. I receive £65 from the bookie. This includes the original stake. Deduct £5 from the losing number gives me a profit of £55. Feeling pleased with myself I searched for another scenario. After much searching I see gamma20{27, 29}. This looked a 100% certainty. Back to the bookie and £5 on each. No 29 comes in at teatime and another £55 profit. Total profit £110(R1450). At risk was £10 on each occasion. Formula used was n+4(mark2) using historical highs of 800 draws. The pleasing thing is I am hitting on the very next draw. Assuming the same performance over 28 days, it could deliver profits of £3080(R39650) over that time. I doubt this could happen but it is a theoretical possibility. Great thing it would be tax free-no income tax and no National Insurance deductions.

:)Hi Excellence. You are quite right. the odds are ridiculous. Too much celebrating after the event affected by thinking. It was £10 per number. That makes sense now. No doubt I should have a rule, 24 hours from bottle to keypad(as 12 hours from bottle to throttle for pilots).:) \come to think of it, it was crazy to risk £20 per draw. I tend to suffer from overconfidence in my prediction abilities and will cut down in future. We are dealing with a chaotic event and are surfing on the edge of it. Although I could easily afford the loss, I will cut down to £2 per number as psychologically I am not a gambler. If I have time I will post a 100% pairing for lunchtime-assuming I find one as a 800 draw history tends to limit the n+4(mark2) as it is exceedingly rigorous.

Excellence, the following stats are the reason for my extreme confidence with yesterday's teatime draw. Current skip 18, highest historical high at 18 in 800 draws. It just had to win as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow morning.

Experimental pair is totally synthetic in the sense I handpicked individual numbers and paired them together and then ran the stats report over 800 draws. I did this a few times until I got what I was looking for. If the history is correct then they should drop in lunchtime or teatime.

Hi Everyone,
I'm back with an all new version of WinnaLotto Version 2.0 - Sangoma Edition. It is still in the very early phase. but it is much easier to work with and understand. Link:http://www.onyxsa.co.za/timedesign/WinnaLotto.zip
At this stage, the import and Ball analysis screens are the ones to look at, all the rest will come in due time. I've tried to keep the screen display small so that even the lower resolution monitors can handle it.

Importing has the steps set out for you.
Ball Analysis:
All 1100 odd pairings are available to you, to limit the amount of lines, you can selectively look at a single number's pairings if you want.
The draw probability is the best way to get an overall picture of numbers of interest.

Will continue working on it and release updates once or twice a day.

I've been out of touch for the last three days with all things lotto (apart from the program) but will start updating my files and comparing notes.

From the news here, South African Lotto is due to start again soon, but it will take a bit of time to build up stats as the old stats are as good as me using the UK 49's to predict the SA stuff - absolutely no good.

Patrick

I also picked up 32 and 37 but not 8. I have been having a bet on pair 27 and 32 for the last 2 draws. It should have hit lunchtime today according to an 800 draw historical high. Sunday was another good day, with a pair hitting lunchtime its first drawing. Started wit 27, 32 teatime yesterday. Having delays in research as the desktop crashed caused by some wretched Kodak software for my camera.I had downloaded. Up and running now.

Had a quick look at these pairs.
{27, 32) high 19 current skip 19
{8, 27} high 21 current skip 14
{8, 32} high 16 current skip 14

My money is on the first one but with reservation. It has breached its highs continually in the last 2 draws. Is it going to go wild. Pairs can zoom up to 28 draws. The second one does not meet the criteria. The safest bet would be on the third one. I think I will bet on that one as well(fun bet at 10p):) We will see what fate has in store.

Hi Springbok,
Double checking my results at 800 draws:
{27,32} is showing current skip 22 but at max of 23
{8,27) is showing current skip 22 but at max of 27
{8,32} is showing current skip 23 but at max of 23

Are you including the Booster/Bonus Ball draw in these values?

Will re-look at program in case funnies occurring.

Re=checked mine and they come out with the same stats. I always use the booster ball. It is done with a history of 800 draws.

Hi SpringBok, Thanks I found one problem{8,27}, I had a row duplicated in the text file. {27,32} is also spot on. Please check your results for {8,32} as the skip high I have is 17 not 16 occurred 16-25 April 2007. Otherwise the program seems to behaving itself.

Pairs of interest for lunchtime {32-41},{37,47},{41,43} and {41,47}.

All the pairs on highs of 15. Obviously they all cannot hit next drawing. What I would do is pair numbers 32 and 37 together. They have an 800 draw high of 21 skips. At the moment they are on 20. Logically it should hit lunchtime,

Hi Springbok, Okay my hits & misses are basically in sync with your values, and odd difference here & there, but then I have not verified my complete list from Blue Square.
The reason why I was one or two out with you, is that I was taking into account when both numbers of the pair hit in the same draw. I would treat that as a zero and one draw difference, I had a hit as one.

BTW. 37 on its own, is at its 800 draw high.

What I am doing now, is taking the highest skipping real numbers- say the top five- and pair them together. Then I run them under an experimental programme which is independent of my alpha, beta etc files. The programme logic is still identical. This is a short cut to using all 1176 pairings. This what n+2(mark2) is doing. What is needed now is harmonisation( a terrible word used by the European Union). We need to obtain simultaneous multiple strikes in a draw. In other words we want 2 or 3 pairs to hit at the same time. A few weeks ago I had 3 multiple strikes in the UK 6/49. I was using 3 different grids(old isolator technique). None of the grids hit in the previous 3 draws. I assumed that logically they should hit in the 4th draw. They did. Of course this does not happen all the time(if only:) ). It does show that it is possible. I frequently get 2 strikes with triples using grids believe it or not. I think the mark1 and mark2 techniques working together could produce 2 hits. One using 800 draws and the other using 400 draws so we are exploring different skip ranges. It is no use looking for 2 high skip pairs to hit in the next draw. This rarely happens. Jislaaik, all this kind of makes the head spin!
Here is possibly a simpler way. I have files of triples as in alpha, bravo, charlie etc. Thay scan the real draws in the same way as the pairing files and statistical reports are produced. There are 16 triples(the 16th having four numbers). You can delete 2 which are statistically likely not to hit in the next draw. You have 14 triples. There are 7 slots to fill in the draw. Randomly choosing one triple gives you a probability of 50%. Chose another and again you have a probability of 50%. The probability of those 2 triples hitting in the next draw is .5 * .5 = 25%. Hopefully by cunning reading of the previous performance of the triples we should be able to increase the probability of 2 strikes in the next draw substantially that is well above the 25%. Anyway Patrick123, I hope you realise what you are letting yourself in for when you dive into lottery analysis. It makes any university course a joke.Maybe the University of the Witwatersrand should have a faculty for Lottery Studies:) You have to enter unknown territory, territory where no human had gone before(didn't someone in Star Trek say this?)

Beam me up Bokkie... er I mean Scotty:)
It will take a while for me to absorb this. In the meantime, I'll post, the program on the link for you to peruse.

Good day. Very interesting idea Springbok. Pairing the five numbers whit the largest skips means 10 possible combinations. Assuming that at least one number will be drawn means that at least 4 pairs will hit from 10. Of course more analysis are needed.
Referring to multiple group strikes I once had an idea about it. I regrouped all 49 numbers in 7 groups of 6 and one of 7. First I wrote the numbers in second base and the groups where formed from the numbers that had the last 3 digits identical. Anyway the probability that at least one group would hit twice in the same draw was 98,07%. Obviously this happened almost every time. I then calculated the skip of the groups that hit twice in a draw. If one group was drawn one time in a draw I would consider it as it he was not drawn, continued counting the skip until the group appeared twice in a draw. I do not remember the calculations right now but I ended up to the conclusion that in 50% of the cases every group will hit twice within 3 draws. I think we could make the same calculation for the groups of 3 numbers and maybe try to make a skip based strategy. Since then I improved my mathematical knowledge’s about skips so I will think about what strategy we could develop. I also will need to perform a lot of test, but before that I always like to have some mathematical parameters that I use for my guidelines. I hope to post some ideas later one but now I study VBA…
