Question for John 77

Positional frequency charts are used to eliminate or highlight numbers in selections that would ordinarily fall out of the normal positional ranges of the game being drawn. I started fooling around with it in response to another question on a different lottery site. The charts are most effective when used in games drawing 2, 3, 4 or 5 numbers, where one can use the chart to determine ranges of numbers where at least 90% of the numbers in that position will be in that range, therefore eliminating any and all draws with numbers outside those ranges. The charts are less effective in games with 6 and 7 numbers drawn, as the more numbers drawn, the fewer the chances all draws will fall into the 90th-percentile range in all positions. Other percentages can be used, of course, with varying results.

All game formats I'm currently aware of are listed, but further progress on that page will be slowed as other matters have taken priority. It is my intention, though, to complete all the charts.
