Well, it's easy to put a block on any anoyance ...
PM might be a good thing - just one additional way of exchanging or confirming lottery info, since the e-mailing is disabled too..…The newer forum members are a bit sorted out in this way.. :look:

Hi tomtom

These forums used to allow private messaging etc. but a silly person abused the priviledge, attempting to capture the membership list in what became a failed effort to duplicate these forums.

Unfortunately this abuse isn't unique on the internet and it makes the www a place of less and less freedom each day as abusers attempt new ways to exploit what was once wide open and good.

Now more and more security restrictions have to be put in place to curtail the abuse.

......Well, that's probably OK from some reason....At least here at the forum is no PM available....
This board has been abuse in the past ...and this could be an open door for some unscrupulous individuals to do it again...That's the only reason of why I am against it...

Dennis our minds must have been on the same ethereal plane of thought at exactly the same place in time and space. :agree:

I hear the theme from the twilight zone playing. :worry:

Just wondered because the members are quite OK, and for every log there is probably an evidence which should keep away any potential www abusers with a sight of any common sense…But, considering all the necessary technical and software precautions desirable during surfing the net these days, it seems that many are really persistent…. Thanx for the clearing up.

:goodluck:
