After 2421 draws for Lotto 6/49, I calculated the following results:
A ---- B ------C ----- D --- E ---- F
30 -- 001 -- 00.0% -- 5 -- 5.00 -- 5
31 -- 014 -- 00.6% -- 3 -- 4.64 -- 7
32 -- 047 -- 01.9% -- 2 -- 4.68 -- 7
33 -- 103 -- 04.3% -- 2 -- 4.68 -- 7
34 -- 294 -- 12.2% -- 1 -- 4.78 -- 7
35 -- 472 -- 19.6% -- 2 -- 5.03 -- 7
36 -- 583 -- 24.2% -- 2 -- 5.09 -- 7
37 -- 448 -- 18.6% -- 2 -- 5.27 -- 7
38 -- 288 -- 11.9% -- 2 -- 5.51 -- 7
39 -- 126 -- 05.2% -- 3 -- 5.56 -- 7
40 -- 031 -- 01.3% -- 4 -- 5.68 -- 7
41 -- 006 -- 00.2% -- 4 -- 5.00 -- 6
42 -- 001 -- 00.0% -- 6 -- 6.00 -- 6
where:
column A indicates how many numbers are left after removing those using your method
column B indicates how many times the number in column A occured overall
column C indicates the relative percentages for column B
column D indicates the minimum amount of winning numbers in the following draw
column E indicates the average amount of winning numbers in the following draw
column F indicates the maximum amount of winning numbers in the following draw
I hope this answer some of your questions but it sure was fun trying to come up with this information using Excel
