Perdue's Pick 3 & Pick 4 Predictions

yup, I am a frugal player...gotta be to have any chance of keeping ahead of the game...politicians will not give us good odds like in a casino

currently I am only about $250 ahead...come new years, perhaps I will start a spreadsheet to track my bets vs. wins and across all games, even the few token scratchers & big lottos.

That's always a problem. I try to balance the risk with the return. It seems to always fall lopsided on the risk side. I've had enough successes that I stay in the game. I wish I could say I was ahead, but that's not the case. The month started out well. I didn't have any hits until tonight. I picked up a box win on 435 with a 453 play. I just had a feeling that it would hit after a 213 draw. It's happened before. I had a strong feeling that 453 was going to hit one evening. I was on my way to buy my tickets and I got held up in traffic. 453 hit and it was a big miss for me...

Pay Outs

It seems the pay outs vary greatly between the US and Ontario..Am I correct in saying that when playing the Pick 3/ 4 in certain states that a person can still receives winnings if they only have partial numbers of the combinations?..For example 2 out of the 4 numbers picked etc. or am I reading that wrong?..Is that what 6-Way Box means?

hiya jillian, some pick3/pick4 games offer more betting options, such as letting you bet on a pair of digits...but it usually means that you specifically bet on the front pair, back pair, or split pair, and get paid accordingly based upon the 1 in 100 odds.

winning a "6-way box" bet means your pick had the 3unique draw digits in any order...say you bet box on 231, then any of these draws would be a winner: 123, 132, 213, 231, 312, 321

also, some pick3/pick3 games have specific prizes, while others payout based upon how many winners there were (pari-mutuel)

I liked the Decco Pick4 game Calif. had many years ago. The format was based on a deck of cards and there were no box options. One hit was a replay, two hits $5, three hits was a larger payout (can't remember this one), and all four hit was $5000. I missed $5000 a number of times by not playing my same numbers from one day to the next.

hiya Mr_Rich, yeah I never saw that game...pretty cool from what I read about it...a unique game, but instead they did pick4 cuz all the other lottery joints were.

Just recently got ineterested AGAIN in studying best strategies for the PICK3 game.
I've read Easy Dollars by Isaac E.Nwokogba a few times and I would like to know what else is there I can get my hands on.
Perdue, you seem like very involved in generating picks, what are your best strategies?
LMG is recommendable for lottert players, but what would you recommend for a pick3 game?

I am a pick 3 pick player and I do pretty well, I would like to share what I do, you may already know this strategy, but 0=5,1=6,2=7,3-8, and 4=9, 5=0,5=0,6=1,7=2,8=3, and 9=4. In the pick 3 for example if the number cam 987/432 than you would (-1/s/+1) than you would get 333 a future number would be 888 or 388, or 838, or even 333. Same with the pick for, but slightly different if you want to know more let me know,in the meantime I will hit today, I hit three times last week in the pick 4 and twice last sunday.

I normaly track past 20 drawings history and pick hot numbers and possible transitional numbers.
Your strategy (-1/s/+1) is always based on the last drawing? Not sure this will work every time.
Is it the only method you use?

I will verify your method on my last 20 drawings then.
