Ontario Pick3 & Pick4 - May 30/08

Jimmy..When you cash out a ticket over the minimum amount do you send it to TO or do you have a store nearby where you live..I was surprised to find out a couple months ago that a few of the stores in my town will cash them out up to $999..I never knew that before except for the casino's doing it..I don't dare go near the casino if I need to cash out because I would be too tempted to stay and play..lol..
A while back when I won the $5,000 it took 3 weeks to get the cheque back from OLGC compared to 6 days the time before..When I called the guy told me that they have been back logged sending out cheques since Pick 4 started and it can take 6 to 8 weeks now..I found that weird..Surely the Pick 4 can't keep them that busy..If I ever win anything over $10,000 I would be paying them a trip to them in person..If ever!!!

I imagine the box play won't pay much but anything is better then nothing I guess..The only reason I played that one (318) and 308 was because when I checked the back plays from 746 those 2 sets had come up shortly after..I need to stick with the same numbers..I've just had this gut

ya, I going to take a trip to OLG slots tommorrow to collect my pick3 and pick4 winnings.
wow it takes 6 to 8 weeks.... online they say 2 to 3 week by mail.
I would wait for the check in the mail if I won around 10k....if I won 50K or more I would be jumping in my VW golf and collect in person.

I usually don't beleive in dreams but after that woman won that $400,000 in the pick 4 because of an instinct who knows..I only have a "gut" feeling about the 885 set of 3 but you never know..I read it should only take 2 to 3 weeks to collect but they told us 6 to 8 weeks even though we did end up getting it much sooner..I live 1/2 an hour from a casino so I could always collect there if it was under a grand..Have you checked your local stores for collecting?..I live in a very small town and we have two convenient stores who are also authorized to pay up to $999..A lot of stores are doing that now..They pay in cash..Would save you a bundle in gas to collect...I would definately make the trip to TO (4hr drive) if I won anything big..In fact I would go there if I ever win the $5000 again..The last time our mail carrier put it in our neighbor's mailbox by mistake..Thank goodness they were honest..I don't like the idea no matter what the amount is that someone knows my business..Safest bet is going to collect it in person..
