9.7 Billion with a "B"! That's a lotta dough!

$9.7 Billion in gambling losses = $9.7 Billion in government revenue over 4 years, but they only sent about $4 Billion to the education budget. What happened to the rest of it?

Hiya Icewynd, ha! no idea, each lottery divvies it up differently...also OH contracts with a casino company to run their lottery I think. Maybe they only have to guarantee $1bil for education fund per year, then rest is operating expenses & profits.

Also some lotteries are different, education doesn't always have a monopoly...some also divert some revenue to orphans, homeless, battered women, etc.
