I was kidding Mirage ... I know you know what the odds are ...

I can see what you're driving at, with the odds being potentially covered (no. of tickets) more than 3 times over there could have been 3 JP winners instead of one.

But we have seen the reverse a few times where with less than 14M tickets sold there were multi-winners ... the cookie crumbles both ways IMO, so I still reserve the right to think the lotto-draws are not fixed.

I won't comment on the location, did that in another thread ... your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to decide if I'm joking again :dizzy:

Cheers :wavey:

The story on the local radio here, is that the lotto was won by 17 people at a gas plant at sedwick, Alberta, who purchased the ticket in Camrose.

I dunno, I'm kind of fed up with the uncertainty myself. I would rather know the truth. Lottery buddy has sales for month of October-not enough data. Is there an archive of sales and winners for the past entire year that you know of? Thanks for any help.

Sorry, I know of no site which compiles the location of past winners, other than BCLC where you could go through the past issues of Luck Magazine. 2 problems with that right off the bat ... it would only show stats for one province, and it sounds too much like work digging for the info.

Maybe StatsCan is a possible source ... I haven't looked.
Sympatico has sales figures for each draw along with no. of winning tickets (but no location) archived back to Dec'97 ... if you look at those don't forget the price doubling in June'04 to get the actual ticket sales.

Could also try e-mailing the Lotto Corps to see if they'll divulge the info ... or you never know, maybe with the recent influx of new members here someone has the breakdown already ...

Cheers

Yes, details are included for 6/49 and Super 7, including sales, region of the winners of the top two prizes, and even the ball drop order. Contrary to popular belief, most jackpots are NOT won in Quebec but in Ontario, which only makes sense since Ontario has the biggest proportion of tickets sold.

I had calculated the probability of how many winning tickets there would be, so I was not surprised that one ticket won the whole $54 million. There was even a 6% chance that nobody would win and the jackpot would have rolled over to more than $80 million!

Thanks Brad! No sales figures for provincial lotteries, but does show 649 and S7 nicely.

How's the other side doing since you sign up with them? Did any of them won anything significant?

Are they still bragging to each other and to unsuspecting members?

I am signed up with them? Really!
Good thing you told me because I would never have known.
I must have the wrong information about what web site "the other side" is, I guess. I did not joined up with them, have never actually even visited that site, and have no interest in going there for any reason, but since they have chosen to join me up on my behalf, it must mean in their eyes anyway, I have for some reason, gone up in the world... Certainly not that I give a damn. :dang:

Actually you're not the only one. They signed up other legit names off this site's so that they can drum up their membership.

They have done that before and they're doing it again. They must be desperate! :agree:

Anyway, my winners for tonight's 02 08 10 22 28 29 38 48 :agree2:
