Numbers to be wheeled for Canada 6/49 Nov 1, 2008

Decided on these numbers for Nov 1st draw. No sophisticated system here. Just did alot of research using http://www.lotto649stats.com. Does anyone know any online wheeling sites that can help me set up the proper distribution of tickets (I'm thinking 20-25)? I did not take the bonus number into account.

Here are the stats on these numbers...

Odd/Even: 14/11
Prime: 8 (However I will attempt to have no more than two of these on any
given thicket)
1-25 vs 26-49: 12/13
Repeats: 1 (1)
Numbers one above or below previously drawn (possible 11 rather than 12, because 1 was drawn): 2,4,27,32,34,43,44
Ending Digit Low (1-5) vs High (6-0): 10/15
Top Ten Drawn Historically: 7 of the 10 are included
Numbers purposely avoided: 2,3,4,25,26,46

I'm sure there were other 'gut' feelings, but here are my twenty-five.
1,5,6,7,10,14,16,17,20,21,22,24,27,29,30,31,32,34,35,37,39,43,44,47,49

Actually, looking over them, I am begining to want to change them. What does everyone think about these 'patterns' that I've noticed??

- Yes, I've played the '30s' alot, but over the past three draws, they have only produced one winner
- On the flip side, the single digits have been quite hot over that same period.
- Too many 'high' numbers??
- Should I incorporate more repeats?

Anything else that I may have missed??
Thanks!!

Iasounis, your picks are…

Actually done with a very good statistics to back them up, the factor luck is up in the sky, so nothing more that you can do about it, one thing is to pick 25 numbers (half of the board) and then how many combinations can you play? If you feel uncomfortable with the other 24 numbers you left out, with $16 (8 combinations) you can always play a small matrix of 48 numbers with out repeat, Blitzed website has a good program for it, that will eliminate your worries about numbers don’t touched by your picks.

Best of luck on this draw my friend :thumb: . Babar

Was planning on 20 lines. The is the largest 'wheel' I've ever used. I have used smaller full-wheels, but reading this site has taught me about having reasonable coverage with a larger number set. I've read about wheeling many more numbers, but with the odds already what they are; I'll probably end up with a bunch of tickets that get one or two hits. 25 in 20 may not be 'much better', but I am somewhat open to playing more lines. As everyone else here, I am 'excited' by the jackpot, so an increase in investment may be possible. Can you, or anyone else, suggest a more reasonable number of lines to play. I'm new here, but am kinda excited to win and be the first here to come back and tell the tale of my winnings.

In the end, 50% of the board means that I 'should' have 50% of the numbers drawn... that means 3/6 ($10)... kind crumby huh??

3/6 inside your 25 numbers do not guaranteed at all, that you'll have one combination with it, unless you use a 3 out of 3 wheel, now that's a lot of combinations and $$$ for just a guaranteed of $10 winning. Babar :dang:

True. That's why I don't really want that kind of guarantee. I guess I'm just trying to put a bunch of faith in half the numbers. from there, I'm hoping that dumb luck will pan out too. I guess that's not the 'best' way to win, but like I've always said, 'The best system is the won that wins.'

Thanks, we'll all need it. The problem with these larger jackpots is that they attract the attention of non-players, giving 'us' less chance of winning and also of splitting the jackpot if won.

This has got to be some kind of record. I use an abbreviated wheel of 25 numbers (more than half the board), and only 1 number hits!!?? In my effort to weed numbers out, I weeded out the winning numbers. This has got to be a record of some sort.
