Noob to the forum

Hello, I have been lurking as a guest at this site for a while and finally joined. As a weekend programmer I have been writing my own software to analyze lottery drawings(still not quite finished, as most projects rarely ever are).

Some of the systems and strategies I have read about here are familiar to me, but others seem confusing. Since I wrote most of my lottery program with little input from others, some of the terminology that is used on this forum is unfamiliar to me as well.

I don't know how my program stacks up to others, It is quite possible that it is inferior to other programs as I have not compared it to any. Currently it will only load pick five games. But if you are interested it can be downloaded from my website (www.palmcoasthosing.net), or from the program website (www.unfairlottery.com).

At one time I had visions of selling it but after seeing that there are literally hundreds of lottery applications that has now changed. If it could be beneficial to anyone here, I am still developing it and welcome any input or suggestion.

Welcome Bill,

Your site looks interesting...... to bad I don't have a pick 5 game in ontario or I would have downloaded it and tinkered around with it for a few draws.

Best of luck with software.:thumb:

hello bbill1, you have cobbled together a very nice program!

Unfair is smooth as it automatically pulled in the updated CA Fantasy5 draws for me...I didn't have to muck around with retrieving the data myself and importing it...very impressive:agree:

I will have to tinker with Unfair...it'll be interesting to see how a predicted pool does against the draw tonight.

cheers!

It appears that at some point back in 2006 I did register as bbill1 but never came back. (I see I posted as bbill1) All posts from now on will be under bbill.

As far as seeing how well it will do predicting draws, I have to honest and state that it makes it's picks merely from the most frequently drawn numbers. This where I left off approx 1.5 years ago when I stopped developing it.

If people think this app is worth using, I will start developing it again and start adding more intensive prediction methods. As I stated before, This app was a work in progress and is FAR from complete. It does work, but in my opinion there is much to be done. Basically, about a year and a half ago I got bored and tired of writing it, and lately I began to get interested in the lottery again and dusted it off. I also re-started the apps again that I wrote to auto update the drawings for download.

Unfair Lottery is an excellent resource, thank you very much, I like the little extras such as ScratchPad too:)

I like how the Game Numbers Stats feature gives a quick birdseye view on stats, beats the hell out of shakin that info out with a spreadsheet:agree:

Tonight's CA Fantasy5 draw:
2 8 32 34 29

My "what if" test scenario with UL pointed out 29 32 34 as the most overdue, and 2 as cold...and 8 is one of my favorite numbers, one of two I chose from the hot list. I had the 5draw numbers in my pool of 10! doh! I could have nailed the draw tonight!
