When the dead of winter comes around with no hockey, then what?

Regards,
George:)
We stole our farm team back from Toronto,
the Road runners so we have American leaque hockey, so we are not without, besides this is Curling capital of Canada here not to worry lots to do and see.

I must confess George, today was probably my best ever game yet, played a couple of weeks ago and shot 1 under, I'm usually around par or a couple over.
You know how fickle this game can be One outing your shooting like you belong on the pga, next game you want to throw your clubs in the water.
It also depends on the people you play with, today I played with some really good golfers, Which I think helped me elevate my game today, I was to scared to get blown out and embarrassed.

Yes, it does help (to a degree). If you have duffers, it would be more difficult to play well.

Which 9's did you play? Simpson, Clark, or Buck? Simpson has par 4's less than 400 yards:rolleyes:. The other 2 9's have no information at the moment:bawl:.

I'd be hard pressed to go sub-par:eek: even with those yardages.

George:)

Was it the white tees? Did you "cut the corner" on Simpson #2?

Nothing me than an 8 Iron for all the par 4 approach shots, right?

George:)

Yes I played the white tee's what did you think I'd play off of the red ones, can't recall Simpson #2
There was one hole that was at a 45degree angle, but my slice helped on that one.

I either used a 5, a 7 or a 9 iron on the approaches depending on the yardage out.

Yes, its the hard dog-leg right. I'd have to hook the crap out of it to follow your shot.

Nothing more than an 8 Iron for all the par 4 approach shots, right?
