Back in June '08 I hit 4776 straight for a str/ box win. Last summer I played the set for a box win. Last night I played the set straight and str/ box. Those numbers have been good to me.

I think playing a boxed set that has hit 2X times or more and hasn't hit for a year or so may give you the best chances. I'm still playing a set that falls on the edge of the bell curve hoping for a good payout.
You're right about the pari-mutuel payout. I'm not feeling "it" right now so I'll back off a bit with the draw results we're seeing.
I went to the lottery office yesterday and submitted my claim. Last time it took three weeks...

yup, sometimes probabilities payoff...or sometimes it is purely luck, like when I boxed the Daily4 the first day it the game started :)

We've seen some dismal payouts this week; the 8-14-11 draw for instance. I'm fortunate to catch the draw I did. My check was sent two weeks from the time I submitted my paperwork to the lottery office.
